Hi ned, hope you are well. I've been trying to look for any snippets on SDx. Nothing, but have you noticed they are late filing their 2023 accounts? Seems to be some tidying up/catch up on the jersey company too.

The d'smore family doubled their holding.. Wonder who owns via transact as those holders jumped from 7.6 to 12.04.. Some people believe something positive will happen!

Has anyone else had there shares transferred out of there ISA by LSE? My holding was yesterday.

Me too. Going private is a bitter capital gains tax pill to swallow when it does recover. If it does to my average cost, trying to be happy thinking I will be salary sacrificing my entire salary for a few years and living off my SDx shares I've somehow sold .

Agreed Maestro. Hopefully this delay may help the no vote too, as more realise the potential value. They seemed confident in September so I agree lose the distraction of SD of it is not generating enough to finance Morocco drilling. Vote after the test drill if necessary but at least we will be know some of the bigger picture.

Yes will be voting again. It's too much of a sting on capital gains to go private for me, that's if it ever recovers and if I can actually sell when private.

I won't be selling at 2p. Been it too long to give up now! Already written off my capital, and couldn't possibly sell before they drill that play.

Lots of new names talking take overs. I guess hoping the talk gets a spike for a quick profit. I can't see a takeover..They need cash to drill the large play. Saving £400k a year by delisting isn't enough. So it possibly because someone is willing to finance a drill for a chunk of shares if we delist. But it's all guess work. Directors always say they can't buy because of impending news. No decent news is ever forthcoming. These directors talked a good game but this current fiasco and no visible progress surely means it's time to go. The 3d results yes raised my hopes then silence till the delist bombshell.

The AIM has lost record numbers this year. Many saying the same as SDx being share price performance and alternative funding.

I just fear we will be bankrupt next year if no funding appears. Either way I'm accepting what is a big loss for me. Just feels more hope of survival if delisted. But doesn't mean alot if no ready market for my shares. If that darn large play is a real thing, they surely would have started the test, they haven't which says to me no cash.

I read the absolute imaging website earlier everything was up beat about the large play. The news release at the time was talking of two potential finance partners for the project. It seems to be if we proved that resource, current shareholders would benefit and financing may not be such an issue. Are we being held random by financiers who want a larger slice of the 48 bcf. Do we really not have enough cash that we can divert to derisk that play further?

Yes initially shocked by a rns I wasn't expecting. But my take is they just cany raise the funds to do what they want and will eventually run out and we lose everything. My hopes were pinned to the large play that touted on September. But it seems they don't even have the cash to do the test drill. Surely a successful outome would have derisked us as attracted new investors and a better share price, even if for a rights issue.

The cynic in me thinks new investors have been attracted but want a bigger piece of the pie.

So I'm stuck thinking if we don't have the cash for the drill, there is no plan B and going private is the only course. Then I'm just hoping the capital I have spent to date can be included in my capital gains calculations should we ever rise, that's assuming I can actually sell.

I'm hoping for an announcement soon for the following from the September operations update :

SDX plans to drill a stratigraphic well in Q4 2024 which, if successful, will help to develop a drilling campaign for the 47 Bcf play in early 2025.

Well that was a rubbish theory!

Looking for any glimmer of goods tines to come so nice to say a daily purchase of a 100k of shares, I know it's small but it's so dark quiet!

But what needs to happen to unlock the £2m? Eg find lots of gas?
