Sorry, re reading the trading update, the results are due week commencing 28th August.

Agree it's not simply a grant Troy but I am sure there will be a benefit to the bottom line nonetheless, not to mention the spin off benefits mentioned by David Budd. I am no expert in this area but actually I should have thought that the market for handheld biohazard identifiers could be quite significant. If the US military is prepared to fund development work they must think they would be worth deploying, and if they think so then presumably so would other military outfits around the world. That could be a hell of a lot of units.

I should have thought that most non holders would have better things to do frankly. Personally, I make it a rule to leave a BB for a share once I have sold, out of respect for people still holding who would no doubt prefer others not to attempt to trash a share that they are invested in. I am sure holders can debate pros AND cons without assistance from people who for whatever reason have a axe to grind against the company. Of course people may be thinking about investing and want to discuss the share with holders, and others with a similar interest, but there is objective rational debate and then there is cynical and destructive negativity bordering on the obsessive and hostile.

Original investment £1000. Value today £28. Not worth the effort to sell so I will leave it and hope for a miracle!

.....decision. Is at least something we can agree on. It's reasonable to say that I have been 'ramping' this share if by that you mean promoting it on here and explaining why, in my view, it is potentially a good investment. However, at least my motivation is transparent as I am invested and so clearly want the company to succeed, people to invest, and the share price to rise. There is obviously a risk and if it goes tits up that's life. I am not desperate however and actually think there is a lot less risk here than in many other Aim companies which are flavour of the month and have people piling in. I am less clear of the motives of people who are clearly not invested and to borrow the the like phrase seem desperate to deramp the share. I have had this before in another share, where a particular poster was determined to mock anyone who had a positive view of it yet now it's doing really well and he has gone silent. Anyway not looking for a slanging match. Still positive about this, especially, now and we will all just have to see how it plays out.

Seems to me that the broker accepting fees in shares (at no discount) plus performance warrants at 15p and 20p is a vote of confidence in the company. They could have insisted on cash and Fox could have paid from their existing lines of credit. We all know that Fox is not generating a profit yet and hasn't got surplus cash just sitting in the bank, but they do have loan facilities on decent terms and clear potential for greater revenues from now - which is more than you can say for loads of AIM companies with much higher market caps and many more shares in circulation.

Time will tell.

Looks promising to me. Fees paid in shares. Performance warrants at significantly higher levels than today's sp. Should see FOX being promoted more aggressively. Possible placing at a premium or at least not at a significant discount down the line? To my mind the signs are that this is turning the corner.

.....to wait now for the full year results. They were out 1st August last year. Signs are good in my view. Big seller seems to have slowed down (fingers crossed) and we have had some really chunky buys lately. Results should be in line with market expectations according to the trading update. Been posting on twitter to try to raise awareness. Every little helps!

No idea why the delay. Probably just red tape. Agree the long silence is frustrating, but this share is so illiquid that we should see a decent bounce on a positive outcome when it comes.

Hello Notsure. Good of you to say hi. I understand your sentiment about posting. I spend far too much time in these BBs but I am retired and have plenty of it. Whether it's worth posting or not is debateable. In AIM sentiment is obviously key and with illiquid stocks you can argue that posting might influence that enough to affect the sp. ditto with twitter these days. Personally, I would bet that the big buyer does indeed know something or at least suspect. As you may be aware, we have been held down by a persistent seller. Maybe the buyer knows the seller is finished or nearly so. Maybe they are simply betting on a lift on news on the Solar projects. Or maybe, like me, they see the value here at these prices. All speculation but such buys are certainly encouraging. GL.

Must admit I was hoping for an update on revenues, but hey ho. Pisani issue is a hiccup rather than a major problem and I am still optimistic that this is heading for a turnaround. Funding at 8% is obviously marginally better than the 9% drawdown facility already secured, and infinitely better than another placing. With the quality of marble that we have it can only be a matter of time before some more big agreements/orders drop into place.

Not me Perky, but I did get email confirmation from the company that they will be issuing a half year trading update 'shortly after the month end' (I.e after end of this month) so we will no doubt get some answers in that. Personally I am optimistic that our patience is about to pay off.

Market got fed up waiting and abandoned ship. Recently the lack of anticipated sales in India didn't help. However, hopefully this has now hit bottom and is about to turn. Directors and the Pru were buying in Feb, HCV CE certification due anytime.
