For anyone new looking in and confused by the insults and conflicting numbers being thrown around, these are the simple facts:
We have a producing asset at Yanfolila that is generating lots of lovely gold and therefore cash, to the extent that the project is almost debt free. When it is, there will be more free cash to do something else, namely, part fund another project in Kouroussa which the CEO has clearly stated will be funded by a combination of debt finance and internally generated cash from Yanfolila. On top of all that we have a third very big gold asset in Dugbe which our JV partners are kindly developing for us at no cash cost to the company but which we will ultimately retain a majority interest in (just). Sounds good to me, and not a number in sight!

In some ways this is a stunning set of results. Revenues in the UK and Europe up 174% and 33% respectively with only International revenues down as a result of COVID headwinds to offset those gains.

He said debt and FCF. He did not refer to any equity funding and I do not believe that they intend to raise equity funds.

That Investor meet Company presentation has to be one of the most exciting, detailed, open (within the constraints) and justifiably enthusiastic I have ever seen. Well done GB. A sterling job done there. I couldn’t resist another top up off the back of that. If I don’t make a very decent return on my holding here I will be absolutely gobsmacked!

I agree that would help. But with Kouroussa to fund probably unlikely in the short term. What would help more would be Sustainable selling their tensing shares to another investor off market. Gold price is driving our price at the moment but I think it will go back up eventually and break recent highs. Banning Bitcoin would really help. India thinking about it apparently.

Houndog - agree. I don’t see damages as being the real issue. We just don’t want the ban impacting adoption of the technology and sales. As you suggest, the critical point is that the challenge is in the nature of a judicial review. If successful, or even in advance of an outcome, the EU could simply re run the procedure correctly and we are back to square 1. This report goes to the merits of the decision to ban and makes it much harder for the EU to do that and sustain the ban.

Definitely! Virtually replaced all ounces mined and I love the adjectives “spectacular” in connection with grades and intersections, and “”aggressively” re ongoing drilling.
