As it happens they clearly didn’t and should have held for another 12-18 months as the price from around 6p to a low of around 1.4p in that time

Let’s not forget the telegram group inspired rumour that the bod rejected an offer of around 60-70p from memory. It became almost fact with so many falling for it, but like virtually every other piece of “information “ leaking from there it amounted to nothing

Icarus, it might not help though. Say an offer of 50p per share was received pre the Russian invasion, that’s not necessarily going to be valid in the current economic climate

Three skins, you’ll get differing opinions but from my understanding the bod can reject any offer received unless they feel they can recommend it to shareholders to vote on. No obligation for them to update us in any or all offers received.

Nothing to stop a potential buyer making their offer known to place pressure on a bod though, usually by “a leak” of information

I was very hopeful of an update here on Monday but it wasn’t meant to be. I bought in 2 days before we suspended so it was a bit of a surprise to see my investment tied up for so long.

i’m not sure i agree aubery, if there was interested parties at the table then the bod, and in particular cs who hasn’t hidden his desire to retire then why would they go down that route if they genuinely believed there was a possibility of a full sale. the war created huge issues and the share price performance reflects this.

Spikey, the infamous SEAL combat side stroke is incredibly efficient once you have the technique really nailed down. Swimmings my thing and I set myself the challenge to master it. Took me a lot longer than I thought and would definitely never made it as a SEAL, but it’s now my favourite long distance stroke. Doesn’t look particularly great and nowhere near as hypnotic as a polished front crawl
