It is likely to be based on the number of shares individual investors held on a date a short time before the announcement to benefit existing shareholders.

The offer could, for example, be 1 discounted share per 100 shares held. Just a wild guess!

As James Smith stated

It does not mean they are short of cash! Like any project, you speed things up by throwing cash at it.

I see this as a very positive step, as do those 3 institutional Investors. The market will hopefully see that too and the SP respond positively.

After the insitutional raise, there is the possibility the SP could rise and the discounted price could be higher than the price today.

There is no guarantee the private shares will be as 'cheap' as the institutional shares or cheaper than now, only that they will be cheaper than the prevailing SP.

I would image the number of discounted shares available to you would be based on your holding at the time.

The number of shares in circulation makes no difference. It's the percentage by which the SP grows that matters!
