Pjmcgra what I am saying is you have to ignore the BUY an SELL flag that LSE attaches to each trade; they have their own way of assessing it and it des NOT work, it is totally unreliable. Scores, if not hundreds of today's trades that have been assessed as BUYS are likely as not just SELLS that have been traded above the MID price.

Exactly Gregorio. I give up - if people do not understand the very basics what chance have they got? It really is very simple - the LSE's trade data is totally unreliable because it uses a methodology that does not pass scrutiny.

Look at the trade at 14:46:50 1.1375 45,007 Buy* This trade shows as a BUY because the trade price of 1.1375 is above 1.25p, the "mid" price BUT it is NOT a BUY - it is a SELL.

No I am not taking a swipe at the LSE nor at MM's simply pointing out that the way LSE chooses to report BUYS and SELLS is totally flawed (but is the same way that many other boards report it); LSE simply takes the quoted BID and OFFER price and assumes that if it is above the "mid" price it will be a BUY and if it is below the "mid" price it will be a SELL. In reality this is NOT the way to report BUYS and SELLS - if you want the direction of the trade you have to pay The London Stock Exchange to receive the information via a direct, very costly feed or you use something like L2 and pay for it.....

It is possible to get this information but you juts need to be prepared to pay for it - LSE does not give that to the likes of you and me for nothing so it comes up with it's own (totally flawed) process for "guessing" whether a trade is a BUY or a SELL.

Alternatively you could Log in to the London Stock Exchange site and see it for yourself.

A very high proportion of the trades flagged as BUYS are indeed SELLS - indeed currently anything and everything not going through at 1.5p or 1.495p all those trades at below 1.4p e.g. the most recent at 1.1375 or similar are SELLS! The fact that the LSE published them as BUYS, in "blue" means absolutely nothing.

Do you seriously believe that if your statistics were correct we would actually have lost nearly 8% from the sp today....?!

I suggest that you read some of the earlier posts on the subject; don't believe everything, indeed just about anything that you take from LSE on the issue of buying and sellling volumes / values...

Moreover the BoD have stated that the next appraisal well (wherever that might be) will not be until after the outcome of the EWT, which in itself may not be started, let alone completed and analysis undertaken until September. So that next appraisal well could well be Q4 and, based upon experience of previous drills in Tanzania, very few are conducted Q4 until late December due to inclement weather (rain).

To be honest, does it matter? Our collective future will not be determined by daily movements of trades and pricing but the outcome of our future EWT, appraisal drilling and JV for a production facility; all of which are some distance away. So to have your decisions influenced by daily sp movements and momentum is somewhat short sighted in my view. Though those that have decided to take their money off the table and sit it out (like RogerJolly) may well see their instincts well rewarded.

They all came back to the market!! They were all forward sold into the market nd He1 got it's money. You could have bought them yourself from the market an at a discount t the 0.25p. Many did, including me...
