Over on another board there is quite a bit of chat advising us to ignore all the ramping etc that goes on, on this board and any other concerning the business in Tanzania,it seems NOTHING is or will be happening in that country, and its a dead loss as far as investing in work going on in that place, I'm beginning to believe that critisism (spelt that wrong), is justified now and fed up with ramping that's being done with Solo and AEX which seems to be 24/7 nowadays.
You'll always get protesters, wherever you are in the world, in the US there were protesters over fracking and the wrath of hell was coming, now those same people are enjoying the benefits of cheaper energy right across the board. Happy to complain, but happy to benefit what they complain about.
Thanks jusmasel and Claymore, I think I get it now, BTW I was a supply boat skipper for 20 years both in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico and never did get the technical info that I get on these oilie sites, I wonder why? And that's even after talking to the minerologists and geologists that I sometimes got as passengers back to shore!!!
I'm in several oilies and pharmas, all be it in a small way and don't comment much at all, but if anyone can enlighten me as to what "corporate" and " reiteration" means on the Brokers Rating page I'd be very grateful. Many thanks in anticipation.
Looking at the posts on Interactive Investor it seems that the authors of those posts are a lot more suspicious of the goings on than we are on here, although I must say I've had doubts for some while now and as soon as I can I'm away.
Some prat will say BOOOOOM in a minute, a boom is a loud bang that lasts for a few seconds, if that, a REAL boom lasts considerably longer, I witnessed three real booms in the South Pacific in the 1950s, we let three hydrogen bombs off and we were only a few miles from them. the booms on here is really a spike and NOTHING else, especially in this share, ask Paul Mines.
I'm not in this share now Chris, I bought into it about 10 years ago when it was 7p, 10 years on and it's still 7p, doesn't that tell you something? I got out last year with a very slight profit but as far as I'm concerned anybody staying in this loser has more money and less sense than I have. It'll have the odd, VERY odd spike now and again but it's definitely not for a long timer, just get in and out as the opportunity arises.
What a load of unmitigated tosh, it's told us nothing. I expect they had a toss up on who they should send home from Las Vegas to put some sort of drivel in a RNS to keep the investors happy, I can't see this company lasting much longer in all honesty, I guess most of Paul Mines's efforts are going into his windfarms.
Over on another site, beginning with letters I and I there are several postings that they require Paul Mines to stand down and go, it seems he has set up another company selling wind turbines individually to punters, placing them in a field in Essex and selling the electricity to the national grid, these turbines cost 30-35000 quid each and the punter is responsible for any repairs and land rent, all in all if the weather is windy enough ALL year round you'll get about 1200 -1400 quid back every year for your investment. Don't forget you'll be liable for taxes of one sort or another as well, so in the end your 1200 - 1400 quid will probably be half a nicker!! Sounds like a good investment to me!!! Mines has been spending almost all of his time building up this company called WINDMINES, that's why this share has been in the doldrums for some time and we're the mugs paying his wages so that he can set up another company. Lovely, Mines gets a company going and the poor old BIOM investor pays for it. ARE WE NUTS OR WHAT??? Answers please on a postage stamp.
