Are you recommending to buy in? I've been waiting all year for news on G450 exploration and the new platform. Don't forget Chrisoil tipped this to go to 250p so some people out there are in the know, maybe are you also?

This stock normally reacts best to leaks and the fact that it is dropping the way it is, doesn't give me any incentive to buy in. One would think if there was a serious offer on the horizon then the SP would be more healthy than it is at this point in time.

This is a calculated move by Cepsa, offering a low bid 10 days before the deadline. Will Ophir do an Ebay style bid of 121p at the last second ?

If SMDR live up to their promises of a new platform , exploration work (even better a commercial discovery - not the meagre ones they normally report) and progress with a new owner then there is a possibility of the SP doubling. However on the flip side of none of those coming true, then 50p is equally as possible and no 11p divi. I'm using their past history as my yardstick!

Could be a major month for this outfit with delivery due on some major promises - (1) new platform sanctioning (2) exploration update (3) confirmation of a buy out. Need Guiseppes crystal ball polished up before I buy back in !! I'm down 70% on Ophir so I need some good news. Still affordable at 106p and I might have a dabble then bail before 24 Nov.

The SP of recent never seems to gain any momentum, only spikes after RNS.

I'm not sure, an RNS slipped in on Monday saying they've got 13% voting rights. I can only assume a new partner with a cash injection.

I figure we'll continue to see lots of ups and downs over the near future until the price of oil levels off. For myself, I'll be taking the 69p as Smdr bottomed out price and if it nears again I will think about jumping back in with 2 feet. It's too early to judge if the stock has found parity at 80p. It's still a gamble but now it's becoming an affordable gamble. The lack of any relevant update is a worry but the upside is potential positive exploration news and the promised sanction of a new platform. With that in mind this stock can easily swing between 50p to 100p; caffeine time for the day traders!!!! Where did you see about Sona? Any idea who Sailing Stones Capital are?

Smdr has a bad habit of not meeting the deadlines of their RNS and my thought is something has happened with the Sona deal (Q4 now, no update on the deal). Have Sona got cold feet with the price of oil dropping??? Exploration work was also promised but no mention of any drill yet.

Has the Sona deal been closed out yet? The RNS said end of Q3 but I can't recall seeing any such announcement.
