The Redmile/Vulpes money came in to be spent......spent on transforming Scancell from its Notts Uni research spinout roots into a more conventional Oxford-based still relatively small but far more capable biotech and spent on getting the products into actual trials not just presented in posters at science events... All that is happening as well of BOD strengthening with an eye to commercializing proven up products...... I'd be very upset with my investment if all that was not happening I do not expect or want that £40 million to last 5 more years but I do want data and on 'unrivalled' real market value deal/s which we all know can run into $billions.....

But yeah tomorrow is another day and it'll take a while to see where the sp settles barring news of course which can also arrive any day.

Yeah, I agree :) .....the thing is data is coming so I don't really get any perceived 'problem' sure modi 1 needs trial centres announced and first dosed and that news is expected before years end so quite soon... Covidity we hope is having no recruiting issues and all going well certainly nothing has happened to halt the trial so we presume no safety issues and await news on the immune response which we are told comes H1 2022 ....SCIB1 plan update to be expected... Avidimab zacari plans could appear anytime along with potential partnerships or pleasant surprises over the entire pipeline..... all with £40 million of funds to draw on provided by solid ii backing as Scancell transforms from a Notts Uni novel science research spin out to a proper Oxford-based potential unicorn biotech that can turn all that research into trial products and indeed conduct those trials at least to ph1/2 .... BOD has been strengthened with an eye to commercial deals too.

Chill pill market has reacted to record loss-making RNS as expected.... me I see sub 20p as back to buying more ...heading to 300k now so if the market wishes to gift me more so be it ...

It seems the price for Indias DNA pharmajet delivered vaccine will be equivalent to about £3.50 a dose (3 doses are required) and that includes the disposable pharmajet syringe though of course there would need to be devices available to the clinics doing the dosing .....interesting to see how it gets taken up but certainly a lot cheaper than Pfizers mRNA at a not for profit £7 a dose in India and the UK will pay £22 a shot for it up from £18 ....

You can always ask questions via email plus we don't yet know if Lindy intends to present at investor events as well as science ones ... personally hope this year AGM is also a virtual one accessible to all... of course that does give the BOD the advantage of editing out and in questions but I thought last years worked well....

Ray that's as good a speculation as any other CH being a MaBs deal man like that is how he first came into the Scancell sphere and I have no doubt he spent a lot of time and effort to almost seal the first Glycan MaB deal plus he announced it too so raised expectation then I presume LD pulled the rug.... As well she no doubts has the final say on everything so possibly he did not see his place and as you say the pharma would want to talk to Lindy what is the point in a middle man Cliff if he couldn't commit to anything.... plus the workload since Covidity must have increased a great deal for LD so perhaps she felt she was doing pretty much everything as regards to trying to secure deals anyways..... possible we will never know and doubt it would be an area they will want to go into at AGM unless it was a clear case of 'due to family commitments'

I'd think or would like to think AGM will help illuminate a lot of this and the planned direction also hopefully more details around Zacari and whatever it is they plan to do with that and Avidimab... I also hope that whenever it is it is once again a virtual one accessible to all .... It should also be all the better for more Lindy time! :) I reckon a huge amount to present considering the Covidity trial is in progress and modi 1 first dosed getting ever closer.

Berm ahh yes I see.... this is the problem when a great announced idea takes 6 years to get anywhere.... the world moved on! I dunno a good question for AGM and I just hope whatever the decision is done in an AIMly sensitive manner :) ...pretty sure Lindy is not a big fan of Yerovoy and its first-gen CI issues but it's pharma backed... Covidity ought to prove up or otherwise it the next-gen ImmuoBodies and pharmajet delivery of so is it even worth going with a +SCIB1 trial in combo or early-stage/resected unless it is partnered up?....

Agree Ray I suppose a possibility is they will carry on with the current SCIB1 combo trial and bring in the pharmajet as well as initiate a SCIB1+ trial.... but yeah I bet a lot will be hanging on Covidity in theory if that gets backed by a third party the whole next-gen ImmunoBody platform or at least SCIB1/2 could well be backed too especially if that is a pharma...What we do not want is a trial to be announced only for it to take over 6 years to dose anyone!

Scancell is a company in transformation due to the funds given by mostly Redmile but Vulpes too... so as you say a different era Lindy always struggled with funding trying to go year to year with a few million always a relegation battle lol now we are in all the cup finals in them to win or lose but in them.... Really as a fan (holder), you can sit back and hopefully watch those trophies come in ..... of course, there is still the risk the games do need to be won and the money will not last forever on losses

So a coming year and a half of potentially game-changing RNS's and the impact those may have on Sp considering the $100 billions of sales a year markets each of scancells platforms are targeting to access with potential game-changer blockbuster products

So Redmile buy up a few more at 21p to give Lindy a reward but many here think the 20-25p range is all wrong lol that we should be I dunno 15-20p or 10-15p or 5-10p and that will secure future funds :) ..... could be we get back into the comfortable 20s next week... still plenty of possibles and action to come... CEPI still have not announced the receivers of their $200 million call.. the possibility of Zacari news and what that may mean for Avidimab... potential deal/trial for a TaG Antibody modi 1 trial begins and subjects dosed..... etc etc

Well they did just not by name lol I think at the time some speculated it was Diggle again.... To say Scancell must be if not the tiniest investment RM certainly one of them they do look to be serious and involved who ever is taking care of this investment for them must have a clear plan.... To me it looks like give Lindy what she needs get all that science proven up then cash in on it either via NASDAQ buyout or whatever...

What may happen ... well they could completely abandon it... that would not go down well with many ...MM would love such news lol.... or they could keep it going but also begin a SCIB1+ combo and pharmajet delivery trial .... more expense but certainly a more relevant trial ...they may bring the pharmajet into the current trial too.... I think a lot is down to what is happening with Covidity as that now is the next gen ImmunoBody / Avidimab and pharmajet trial that will show the way forwards........Anyways it will need sorting and probably Lindy will see the current trial now as scientifically and strategically not worth the continued time and costs.....

A very good spot there from Johnny RM certainly looking like they are backing Lindy all the way.... same as many of us :) pity that was not revealed on the day though as the market loves that....

I think the Oxford part of the company is significant and a huge step forwards...Notts Uni research science that once did not go much further than the lab and presentations now being turned into trial usable products and then hopefully on trial success commercial ....makes making partnerships a lot more realistic and attractive to potential partners
