The puzzle is SCIB1.... an already proven in trial product not moditope ...Lindy still works hard on the ImmunoBody platform though which tells me it will get its break

The little uncontainable smiles on Lindys face when talking about moditope and Cd4 killer cells ...pretty much tell me we will get clinically valid results with moditope(they already test it using human donor blood)... ImmunoBody already did it in trial but I get why a deal has been harder there... though it still perplexes me and indeed is reflect in ever decreasing sp as to why no one has made a move in on it...puzzling

The very obvious thing here is... the relationship between Sahin and Lindy is good... he even introduced her to his bit significant other Mellman :) ... when you read Sahin's story you get he would very much get Lindy... it is hard to take novel and make it mainstream... Sahin already went through it his history is much like Lindys...I do believe the future belongs to these people... scancell could end up with a pipeline that a pharma could not afford...

I'm wondering... was phase one looking at modi1 and is phase 2 looking at modi2? who knows.... but I trust in those scientists to get it as right as a preclinical therapy can be...

(wonder if that future bit was about project blueprint or something more! They have already been let in on looking at modi2) think from Sahin's roots he really gets scancell and how hard it is for such a company to break through...

Think of JC's words at AGM... someone asked the reasonable question... why did we not get BioNtech to do a commercial deal with us instead of a research collaboration... JC answered because we would be still talking to them now with no deal...

'Novel' is something not many are willing to fund... as we well know! So this is where CRUK step in... just because cash-rich BioNtech and Genentech are on the team does not mean they would ever be able to justify to their 'shareholders' to do such a project... though I must say for those two it seems they are willing to fund the 'novel'.... anyways not too long to wait to find out what happens... and who knows maybe the 30 grand already spent has brought all the members of the team even closer together...

It is not based on cash wealth of the shortlisted CRUK want everyone... academia, clinicians, scientists and pharma as well of patients to all work together to find solutions to the challenges... BTW scancell could never afford to do project blueprint could they... we are far too skint for it!...

The first two products, approved in 2017 and known in shorthand as CAR-T, have brought some people with otherwise untreatable blood cancers back from the brink of death.

“Often these patients have survival measured in weeks to months,” says David Maloney, medical director of the Bezos Family Immunotherapy Clinic in Seattle, which at any given time is treating more than 30 patients with both experimental and approved CAR-T products.

The experimental results that led to approval for each product were remarkable. But outside the cautious, tightly controlled bubble of clinical studies, the products and their owners have had different experiences in the real world.

a listed company needs shareholders in order to raise money from market... every raise here has been at a lower and lower price this company is losing shareholders (though I am gaining shares))... what happens if we get to zero holders zero sp? no that does not mean I think that will happen here, of course not that is why I am buying but that is the 'risk'... so yeah directors run the company but can they afford to ignore shareholders and attract no shareholders and lose the ability to raise funds?...

How many shareholders does BioNtech have now and how many will they have when listed?.... do you not agree the current few private shareholders are more than likely are all on the same page as regards to strategy... once listed new shareholders put on new pressures as they may well have different ideas for the company than the original private ones... I think this all basic stuff really... once BioNtech IPO they will probably have an mcap in the multi $billions.... if they do not maintain and increase that they will face share holder pressures

There are plenty of holders here or maybe holders who would be over the moon if scancell sold up stock and lock for 50p... we have heard em... now a none listed company does not have to deal with those sorts do they ... not that our BOD will either-despite the probably constant emails but if the let us sell all ip for 50p brigade owned most of the company then what?.... I respect that Ivy has some personal insight into this through his profession ... and it will be interesting to see where BioNtech is heading with their strategy it does seem they have one...

Ivy I get what you mean... and I am sure scancell have many times wished they had had a benevolent billionaire Auntie willing to back them from the begining so that they now would not be stuck on AIM with a £30 million mcap and disgruntled shareholders...though for me I am happy AIM are valuing our ip... as one day sp and ip will come together...I just hope it is soon!

That is something I was trying to get at with the involvement of Prof Christian Ottensmeier, director NIHR CRUK Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre....... our team is already is very CRUK connected...

They are already building up RNA vaccine data... however their TCR platform does seem to have been put on hold ... so far!...and the reason for that could well be they will be using moditope for their first trial which is long overdue seeing as they had it all planned for 2017... anyways they are a very good company for us to be involved with...

Though I still can't get how SCIB1.... seems at least to have been overlooked by all pharma... hmm still reading it we can see how a guy like Sahin is interested in a company like scancell....

Ivy would you see it as a possible move towards listing though? ... considering they have said in the past they would like to and they have brought in a guy experienced in doing that... I'd love to see them listed just to see the mcap! lol
