Scancell has never been more 'deal ready' though .... BioNtech collab over a year old into H1 2019 when initial phase to find TCR candidates completes....... Samantha Paxton hired to 'spearhead the NEW TCR THERAPEUTICS' ....I'm taking that RNS'd fact and what I hear from scancell emails as a 'hint'

Modi-1 closer to the clinic than ever adjuvant sorted manufacturing sorted tox testing possible complete or nearing completion and oh so important all most vital patents for the supporting moditope platform about to come into place with the US one expected soon..... Modi 2 has arrived ..have no doubt scancell team science will tweak that to 100% humanised mouse survival too and it targets the most immunosuppressive of targets....wowzers

Any deal on moditope will have a huge amount of upfront attached when you compare to any comparative deals and consider scancells current Mcap.... and in TCR sphere the smallest target deal I can find had $8million upfront with $200 million milestones... we know BioNtech have the money and have clearly stated of $270 million they raised just before our collab some of it will be spent on techs surrounding its TCR program... a program that would only make its end of year IPO more attractive.

Race against the clock? as ever... possible that scancell will have to raise pre any deal - yes... deals not possible before then? obviously not!

My strategy... nibble away but have a nice stash waiting for the bell on a transformationl RNS day...... as market would take a little while to wake up to it.... and might even eventually price in SCIB1's already a clinical success and SCIB2free ride to commercialisation.... watch this space as ever lol

Ray yeah, BioNtech/Genentechs mRNA platform is a very expensive personalised version of ImmunoBody, of course, it does have that personalised advantage....ImmuoBody having the same problem as so many others with needing antigens and being only as good as the antigens it contains but we have already seen if you can get the right ones ImmunoBody is a highly effective antigen delivery platform and an off the shelf cheap product too...

BioNtech IPO won't be till end of year or early 2020... all dependent on US market circumstances too... as has to be worth it for them....BioNtech already hired the guys who will oversee the IPO it's big biotech already very much doubt prof Sahin (who would green light scancell deal ) and Sean Marett who would do the deal are that much involved in IPO...we know there have been US TCR IPOs that have attracted investment our neighbours Adaptimmune for one...so you would think it would be another string to BioNtechs bow that they would like to show is advancing fast to the clinic as it would make them even more of an attractive US investment.... just my thoughts on it... but as ever we will see

Yes, I'm not sure what has or is happening with that Lilly partnership it was in 2015... Seems same old problem very hard to identify target antigens?.... moditope mechanism solves such problems

Well, Sean Marett the guy at BioNtech (British guy) who does the deals... said a chunk of the $270 million raised just prior to doing the collab with scancell will be spent on deals around their TCR program.... it's even on video :) so lets face it they have enough already :)

I do not see it as a distraction to doing a deal with scancell infact you would think they would want it done prior to it to have a TCR trial to add to IPO prospectus... there are many people working at BioNtech and Sahin probably is not working much of at all on IPO

Thing all us here and in the scancell know should be aware of and be prepared for is....... There are at least 2 possible (almost probable) Transformational RNS that could drop any time now...One being the BioNtech TCR deal as that research collab ends H1 2019 , I have posted the least one of those kinds of deals has been done for is $8 million upfront per target with $200 million in milestones....you would expect BioNtech to go for more than one target..Sam Paxton spearheading the 'new TCR therapeutic'S' (all RNS'd that )

The other is a partnership either on modi1 or the whole moditope platform ....scancell have RNS'd they are in 'multiple' partnership talks on moditope... Genetech/Roche is one we can have a little confidence are interested but who are the others???... and we know that kind of deal could have over $100+ million upfront attached....

So.. I hope you all like me have a nice little stash ready to be in on the first bell of an RNS announcing any of those I'm sure even those in the know but currently without any shares are waiting on that one..... because we all know it would take the market a little while to wake up to such an RNS.... no wonder some might want the sp lower and lower :)
