I think what was said is he replies to emails about FDA issue as in its to do with Ichor device but does not answer questions about UK trial....It could well be up and running but doubt it as let's face it they would want to put that out as an RNS first patient/s dosed ... so like I say ... dunno but I do hope we get to know by next week

It all seems so obvious to me.... Genentech/Roche are moving in ... they want a SCIB1+ using nano delivery so its goodbye Ichor :) .. then I woke up!...
I'm not sure what is going on but UK arm ought to be running already... it may be however it is not showing on clinical trials sites (strange) the FDA issue has no bearing on our UK trial it is approved... possible issues... something with the long since manufactured vaccine?... well doubt that last time it had a life of over 5 years and is tested regularly also would have expected an RNS if any issue there... Ichor.. new devices need shipping in and staff trained... that is possible but surely that was all in the timescale planning? if not poor show!... Others could be issues with recruiting patients...I would have thought no problem finding patients on pembro that fit the trial criteria..... so... dunno have to wait till Tuesday and hopefully it will all be clearler then if not sooner.

C7 I don't think I'm much more clued up on scancell than yourself lol.. none of us are Immunotherapists and even if we were... a lot of those have their pet scientific route to treatments loves and are sceptical of a lot of other routes till they are proven... makes it a vibrant area of research and indeed companies based around the various techs...
On modi1 what I was getting at was more getting the vaccine to 100% survival in humanised mouse models de-risks the vaccine as much as pre-clinical possible... the experiments in human blood also de-risk to the extent that they show it ought to have an effect in a majority of patients however that will not result in the 100% survival due to both the fact, not every patient will respond to all 3 and indeed some not to any of the peptides and the variance in potency of response to those that do... however clinical data is going to be vital ...The thing is if the moditope mechanism shows itself to work and it looks very likely it will as likely as anything pre-clinically can ... it can be improved on until maybe one day it would mirror the amazing mouse data.... I do think modi1 in a cohort of patients will show those miracle mouse survival results another cohort will benefit and another probably will not the Amplivant adjuvant aspect will be of great importance too of course.... It's just not certain the %.... which is also why the whole 'in combination with' is now talked about but I'm certain scancell are working hard on getting the final shape of that first moditope trial as right as possible to get as much valuable data as possible... no doubt things are being learnt from the BioNtech collab too

The mouse model is certainly important and Lindy tweaked up modi1 up to that incredible 100%...
The experiments in donated human blood demonstrate the moditope mechanism exists and with modi1 we ought to get some validating human data.... however it also revealed though a majority of donors bloods respond to at least one modi1 peptide very few respond to all 3 plus the level of response varies... this is indicative in my opinion of scancell not being able to replicate that incredible 100% mouse data into humans ... at least not in this first trial....

Dear Knowlesi no spin ... just good old honest debate which crave... Can I ask you what must the high risk/high reward investment that is scancell do to derisk themselves enough for you to be a content holder? I realise you must have come here full of hope as you managed to attend an AGM what has so soured you since? and how can that in your eyes be made right? Or can't it? is it too late now ... is the damage as far as your concerned done?... tricky business this high risk/high rewards investing..... there are top 100 FTSE shares out there though....

I'm not sure how it would work here... just that is something they have done before so wondering on the possibility... I'm sure Ruck will be more knowledgable on such an arrangement... and how it could or could not work here...
The other thing is I have no doubt that Vulpes mr science guy will be keeping an eye in on all things scancell now they are invested ... hope Diggle attends AGM

An interesting thing when Vulpes got involved with OXB and became their biggest share holder they a year later in 2013 they did a £5 million loan facillity agreement with them...
I wonder is that something possible here? would it be seen as a positve way forwards? I'm not sure of the pro's and cons but possibly worth .... errr..... debating! If anyone with more know on such matters could comment ...cheers

We can look at their history with OXB they continue to purchase shares far higher than their original purchase... however it seems they will behave completely different with scancell :( at least according to one investor

I wanted to debate him as that is what he said he wanted but for some reason, he won't answer simple questions and seems more obsessed in personals and in claiming some form of victimhood ... oh well :)

As for scancell are always going to be needing funds... which seems to be his only thread and to make out investors here are in some form of denial about it lol and duh we all know scancell will always need funds and until they come from elsewhere the likelihood is they come from the market... but come on Vulpes coming in has to be great news for all especially us pi seeing as in the Diggles we now have a skin in the game allies with clout... if any AIM bio had the choice they would want a Vulpes investment.... imagine VAL if they had 'chosen' them ... not likely though lol and doubt they were in the 20 odd considered investments even :)

I think Cliff has basically said the coming modi1 trial will include patients who are currently on CI's (probably the poor responders) that is the 'combo' element it is a real-world fact that patients will be being treated with CI's as they are part of current treatment regimes .... it is not a SCIB1 scientific rationale type combo... though it will provide valuable... possibly very valuable data... no negative in a CI non-responder suddenly having an immune response when modi1 is added
