I think it is pointing out that these are still early days there is no one silver bullet cure-all... And the understanding of these therapies is basically an ongoing project as they progress through trials into their approval and are improved on and combined with others .... media headlines concerning cancer treatments always seem to be sensationalist ...Though scancells remarkable SCIB1 swimmer chart seems to have been lost on the media.. if only it were tattooed on Harrys forehead!

Well, I've bought my ticket I know its potential worth I also know it could be a no show ... that's the risk/reward it's not for everyone

Jeez we are about to have a modi1 trial a potential absolute game-changer of a trial... potential of late-stage no treatment options left tumours in multiple targets in a significant amount of patients...melting away after 4 days after a therapeutic dose wow ( if it works as well as it may) ...... Don't see why this year of all of them you should feel so pessimistic! ... the modi1 trial coverage push has already begun

At this stage, hope is all we have lol .... Though again as I have said before I know Lindy knows the value of her baby and she will not give it away... on the flipside, she needs it to get into the clinic and hopefully beyond and that costs a hell of a lot as we all know and where is that money coming from well as of yet we are not sure but trial is due to start H1 so no doubts we will be finding out

A better scenario they do a licensing deal which is the RNS'd conclusion to the collab... their money pays for modi1 trial ... the mdi1 trial is a huge success moditope becomes a whole new class of dominating cancer and beyond therapies and scancell ends up buying BioNTech... for the manufacturing facilities etc and of course cuz we like em :)

'Incyte is set to pay MorphoSys $750 million upfront for rights to anti-CD19 antibody tafasitamab. The licensing deal, which features a $150 million equity investment and up to $1.1 billion in milestones, gives Incyte a big stake in a near-approval asset that achieved CAR-T-like efficacy in lymphoma patients.

Tafasitamab, also known as MOR208, is the subject of a submission at the FDA in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) that could see the drug win approval this year. MorphoSys began the filing after linking a combination of tafasitamab and Celgene’s Revlimid to overall and complete response rates of 60% and 43%, respectively.

MorphoSys is still running a study comparing tafasitamab to rituximab to see whether its drug can clear that tougher test and realize a more lucrative commercial opportunity. But Incyte has already seen enough to make a big bet that tafasitamab is the drug to end its wait for a new commercial product.

Incyte is handing over $750 million and making a $150 million equity investment in MorphoSys at a premium price to get the deal underway. Down the line, Incyte is on the hook for up to $1.1 billion in milestones. '

No, I think it is Evans that has raised the investor fatigue issue and he is not really talking about pi's but more the ii's -Calculus and OXT etc (I believe) though obviously many LTH pi's will be empathetic with that position too... They have not gotten a gain on their investment here in the timelines they may have expected to and now sat on a low sp they may well be happy to go with any potential takeover 22p or above.... just to get a return and move on.... It is an understandable position

My understanding was due to some LSE law he cannot post here...If that ever changes would indeed be good to see him post here as he does bring the kind of knowledge and insight none of us has....Much respect to him and his holding he was always the BOD member to dig deepest into his pocket on each call.... C7 glad to hear of your chat with DE I never doubted it was him myself but hopefully now that doubt of othets is gone.... What I will say on his scenario of 'vulnerability' is this ... maybe that word is not the best one lol... More scancell offer an 'opportunity' to a potential takeover bid from an interested party.... Evans admits that he plucked BioNtech out as a lazy option and because well we know they have a better idea of moditope than any other company besides scancell themselves.. so if they are liking what they are seeing and like it a lot they have a real reason to make some form of move... That does not mean scancell have to go with the takeover option the collab is after one who's conclusion would on positive results end with a TCR licensing deal... Surely that still stands .... And we now know there are 2 other companies looking closely at scancell tech ...naely Avidimab/Glycans.... what is to stop then from thinking the same?... I find Evans comments on Vulpes interesting and pretty much we know it... they are going to be a dominant force on BOD decision making... So far as I'm concerned Martin has made all the right noises. Anyways all we know for absolute certainty is no one has actually made any takeover offer so it is all mere speculation :)

Again the biggest issue for me is this 'vulnerable' idea and also the fact yes I do think we are worth much more than 22p especially considering there is no clinical moditope data... no TCRs no Avidimab?glycan cash deals ...SCIB2 in trial etc... all things that we are possibly in for this year....

Anyways yes there is the big coming issue of modi1 trial..... costs....... And who is paying for it?... I expect scancell will be needing in excess of £5 million and I think modi1 will be going into trial by about April... so something is coming for sure what it is I dunno.....

TF no doubts there is investor fatigue and quite possibly this is behind Evans personal thoughts too... First of all for the buyout scenario to happen there has to be a buyer then the BOD has to be up for it (are they fatigued?) then major shareholders.... no doubts some of them are but Vulpes ? hmm they took someones fatigued shares just recently... obviously if the price is deemed right and the most importantly IMHO Lindy is happy with it ( and that would mean she gets to keep pretty much complete control of moditope progress) then it could happen... And I agree it would have to be above 22p ...Would for example if it were a BioNTech we all get shares in them too? dunno... Anyways I do not think it is happening I think licensing deal/s are more likely and then fundraising involving Vulpes possibly others too at a higher post deal/s SP ... but this is scancell so who really knows :) .... Is the situation this year of all really so 'vulnerable' though? .... We have already attracted Chinese interest for instance,

No deal has been made it is just the admitted musing of Evans ( yes I agree it is him) Like I say he may well himself be tired for all kinds of personal reasons .... What we here are saying is we think that scenario is crap deal for scancells shareholders and techs and unlikely at this stage.... Again I do not get why all of sudden he sees Scancell as 'vulnerable' ?.... Of course all worthy of debate and if we were bought out at 22p many though not all of us would make a profit... hurrah... There are many other possible deals that are far more attractive to us all
