Well I always keep an eye on the Boerse Frankfurt exchange for any action with scancell shares and over the last few months there does seem to have been some buys today too...least I presume its a buys lol

Hopefully, the UK will have the best UK funded ,developed and produced vaccine options.....Meanwhile if the US wants to back Notts Uni they should take it!

Their $4 billion mcap is taking a bit of a kicking for it but for 1 million year old company with no products on the market and less than impressive science Inovio have indeed managed to gain a $4billion mcap... and attracted $millions of investment so Doc Kim of spin does something right even if it isn't the science.

Boom do you think if it is deemed safe and there are 'antibodies' that it won't be rushed out? seems to me that is all they are waiting for ... These vaccines are being fast-tracked almost you could say the real trial will be when they are given out to the general public.... then they will either prove themselves or fail ....hopefully not at the expense of other vaccines that maybe offer something else that is needed and also the effect it could have on the public of becoming distrustful of vaccines.

I suppose what we can say is nothing is cut and dried for COVID 19 vaccines.... they are all basically 'early-stage' just with these interesting times many poor ones will no doubts get huge backing and may even be given to the public opening the possibility of a vaccine disaster onto a world of anti vaxers ....Sure some corners could be cut but to be mass manufacturing a vaccine before any trial proof and indeed after it raised questions in preclinical testing as to its potential effectiveness looks to me like a recipe of disaster ... I like the Imperial guy reckon Lindy would get on with him but the Astra guy seems intent on pushing the Oxford vaccine on to us all as soon as it is deemed 'safe'

Second generation vaccine, not 'second wave'. :).. though the second wave might wave it into funding especially if by then the rushed vaccines are in use but proving well less than use.

Yeah, I get that what I meant is it is not drawing board stuff oh lets come up with a vaccine.. they say it can be in trial by Autumn so to me that means it can be in a trial by Autumn how much funding secures the work to get it there well I do not know as yes... a lot more work on it to be done.

I'm not sure I would call the Nott's vaccine very 'early-stage' in as much as they have stated with funds it can be in a trial by Autumn....of course we know oh so well about scancell timelines :) but it is a product from an already developed platform - ImmunoBody so indeed it may well be it could be trial-ready by Autumn with the right amount of funding backing....
