Yes the thing is the mechanism exists that is now proven those cd4 t cells are there, however, triggering it in every patient is the tricky part .... Personally I'm surprised Genentech have not by now come in.... early stage very exciting science is their thing and we know Mellman is aware.

modi 1 as a product is finalised however whether it is now a trial product we as yet do not know...

There have been some technical challenges regarding the third peptide conjugate which are being actively addressed. This has led to a delay in completing all the necessary processes and documentation required for regulatory submission to start our planned clinical study in the UK. Hopefully, that final hurdle has been jumped and we are now indeed ready for modi 1 to go into trial...

I have few doubts an immune response would be seen in a human trial and yes it seems probably in over 50% of patients in hard to treat Ovarian Cancer ... how that then translates into survival is anyone's guess but that is what the trial is for and we know when it 'works' moditope is something else... heavy tumours dissolving to nothing in a couple of days of receiving a therapeutic dose ... a potential game-changer and would have huge values attached.... let's have that trial!

That does not mean it will translate into survival though...of the 17 only 2 responded to both vimentin and enolase....the others responded to one.... Still very enticing and definitely worthy of a trial ... A lot of work going on and scancell are not just sitting still Lindy will be working out who are the best potential patients and why and who are not and why not and how they too could be treated.... They provide a PDF of the patient blood samples used from real cancer suffers giving details of their disease

'Development of new immunotherapies
Although great progress in the management of cancer has been made, currently available drugs and treatment strategies are not able to treat all forms of the disease. Indeed, treatment options can be very limited for some patients.
