Underwhelming interview16 Feb 2026 10:57
I find the interview a bit disappointing:
- Paradox farm-on process, doesn’t sound like it’s very well advanced (12 min 45 sec).
- Marketing partner Paradox, is well advanced but this is the easy bit, a marketing parter doesn’t invest any they just take the gas if Zephyr can deliver some gas.
- Paradox production start-up – Colin is uber wishy washy on this point.
- Enbridge refurbishment of the pipeline going across Zephyr Energy doesn’t have anything to do with Zephyr Paradox asset. Enbridge is doing a big refurbishment project across their asset base in Utah. 10 min in the interview is very clear that Enbridge is running their own process and will deal with Zephyr in time but as regulator pipeline operator they have to engage with Zephyr.
- Helium well put on the back-burner (19 min 30 sec)
Its 9 months since the last Paradox well test was completed and soon 5 months since the last Paradox CPR was released and, in the interview, it sounds like farm-out is going really slow. One does wonder what they are doing. At the same time US natural gas prices are back to 52 weeks lows.
