Admittedly that was a tad tongue-in-cheek Jordan but I have put in the hard yards over the years on this board and ii and have always reported from the scene...whether that be an AGM, a personal meeting with Gerry or James, or from Morocco or other events... so no, I wouldn't expect at this stage to miss out on such a 'happening'. I like to think I have been an ambassador for this company through the conduit of being a long term private investor. Jordan, I feel your disdain like an incontinent feels the pee running down his legs...its constant, reliable and uncomfortable. But if you make it to Mayfair come and say hello...I will extend the hand of friendship.

Just to add to the confusion: even I did not initially get an invite. But I know a few other LTH who also didn't get an invite. Apparently, there was a glitch, because they are on the mailing list. Sarah sorted it out soon after and hopefully all is resolved. Initially, I was not allowed any more unpaid NHS leave but I have now 'resolved' that situation and Cinders will now go to the Ball..................wild horses couldn't keep me away!

Soundingoff, I agree. In the usual scheme of things the whole licence are would have been CPRd - indeed, that was to be the case until one day we were told that (conveniently) wouldn't be necessary! So we have very little idea of how the TAGI prospects play out & no clue (hardly) of the potential of the Paleozoic. I wondered at the time if this was ' not needed', as they said or indeed flim flam to keep it all under wraps. Perhaps it was not needed by the partnership but the private investor might well have benefited!

Tenthofafoot, I take it you never got to 'clamber all over the rig' at TE7? I was actually disappointed we were not allowed on the drill platform at TE9 (as we were at TE7) but they had just started drilling so understandable. You cannot buy those sorts of experiences at a travel agent...what a thrill for us that we got to do it with Sound Energy!

Daddy, I disagree. To be able to visit a gas field and clamber all over a drilling rig has been one of lifes great experiences for me and plenty of others who were able to take up Sound's offers. Also, meeting fellow investors at various events has been hugely einjoyable. I think we are jolly lucky to be invested in such a transparent and highly communicative company ,who value its investors!

Just remembering my recent cruise around the Caribbean & Central America & a snorkel trip I did off Tortola. I wasn't expecting anything larger than the fish that the dive boat captain was feeding with bread from the back of the boat...I jokingly said I hope they didn't get much bigger. After reassurance I swam around the caves of Norman Island (BVI) & suddenly a shark appeared 10 feet below me. Yikes was my original thought/emotion, but having conquered fear, felt intrigued enough to follow...but it swam away quicker than I could & that was that. I have since learned it was a Caribbean Reef Shark & whilst mostly harmless it doesn't always follow, as you can see in the footage of a diver with a more than curious reef shark!!

The postscript is I was talking to somebody in the sea & mentioned the shark I saw - he didn't see it - but he was keen to stay in and asked me how much time I thought we had. I said probable 10 minutes more & swam off. But when it came to boarding the boat they unknowingly (unwittingly) left him in the water...with the thought of the shark I had just talked to him about...needless to say he wasn't happy when we went back for him!!

Tableleg, like most here I immediately thought there would be good news to accompany such an event. But when they announced they surely would not have had much of a clue as to un-stimulated flow rates. I do think they have sufficient confidence to hold an 'informal chat over a pint' in Mayfair (of all places). I like Tincan's inference that maybe holding the event at Balls Brothers in Mayfair has subliminal messages. If investors have the cojones then the likes of Mayfair & its charms could be attainable. Pity only 50 people could attend - I am sure so many more would want to but I would like to believe they will hold an LE party where every investor is invited. In the meantime I am attending & am looking forward to meeting up with some very familiar 'faces' & anyone who has managed not to meet me over the years. I love being a Sound Energy investor & will probably shed a very small tear when the company is sold...but no doubt I will move into the next 'Parsons project' & the whole thing repeats - but it won't be the same...emotionally for me. I got to know & like original CEO Gerry Orbell & lunched out with him & even filmed an AGM... that is best forgotten. I have lunched and dined with James on numerous occasions & at some very lovely locations. How lucky are we, as investors, to be given the opportunity to visit a gas well & climb all over the drill rig; be entertained in a country like Morocco & thoroughly enjoy the whole experience. The camaraderie that social financial media sites propagate which allows us to make friends & keep in touch - even after Sound Energy are sold. I have made friends for life & we have one common theme - we are all decent people that took a great risk in an AIM company & it paid off!!

There is seemingly so much we don't know but as you say...Schlum will know all about it! We don't even know if a Data Room is open but we have been told there is plenty of interest, not least of all from private investors who are ultra curious & (understandably) starved of information. I was surprised the numbers were limited to 50 at the Mayfair bash because they must have assumed there would be a stampede for tickets. But it won't be the last time investors can meet the management. There is still presumably an AGM in June; there has to be an EGM & there could also be an LE party.

Tincan, the deepest point at which gas was observed was 2070 m...which is about 70m into the Paleozoic below the TAGI Strat Trap. They went on to drill down to 2218 but no gas was observed past 2070. Whether the gas they encountered below the TAGI is significant regarding the Paleozoic is uncertain to us as we have only been told it de risks the Stratigraphic Trap. So we are presumably not much the wiser regarding the potential of the Paleozoic (although gas shows must surely be encouraging). It seems inconceivable we wont attempt our final planned well in that zone but who knows. The mystery to me if they don't is how they value what we have without an appraisal well. We currently have a range of uncertainty that assesses 'potential' gas to be 1.4-3.4 TCF at TE10. If they sold post TE10 flow test results how do they value the 'potential'...because there will be not much in the way of nailed down numbers to assess. Is it just a case of proving the existence of a hydrocarbon system that can be naturally flowed, fracked & horizontally drilled & then taking a mid-case percentage of the seismic & TE-10? Questions that will no doubt be asked at the London bash...If I get any answers I will post.
