23 p...? Fear of losing money and knowing other people being scared and selling would push the price down.. and tripping stop losses on the way ... greed pushes it the other way to excess sometimes. Exagerrate movements.
.. it's a bit less simple than that, or rather a lot less, but its decided on sentiment ultimately even if it's sentiment sometimss based on analysis and automated trades set at preset chosen values.
Mr Market decides on prices.. he doesn't exist though, nor does anyone who analyses and sets price. Many provide guesses of different quality and validity, no one says what the price is other than millions of people interacting with an order book and chance.
You're right. I omitted to. As I said before you never have anything to say worth listening to ... and that foolish misplaced attempt at bigotry ? Not much of a credit to you after a lifetime's experience is it.. Filtered now.
Read the study, its not gobbledeygook. Find out about the organisation. Then criticise.. ince you gave a clue about either. See if you can come out with something less meaningless than 'elite'.
No rush ..
Read their report. Its not gobbledeygook. You have no grounds for any of your comments. The word "elite" is meaningless guff in this context. You fell for that. Get back to me with any criticisms after you have read the study and learned about the organisation.
Obscure ? Well lets compare. We have uour own eminent opinion.
Or the Commonwealth Foundation's which is a 700 million dollar private foundation focused on research and promotion of international health care, established over 100 years ago run by medical professionals. Naturally you will believe you know infinitely more than them. Feel free to tell us all you know about health care.
Seems a shame to me that the NHS can't have a private paying service.. and keep the profits to put in rather than enriching private companies. Private health very often relies on NHS as back up and tge same doctors and consultants. Agree on amount spent on agency staff too. Money poured away.
Is widely regarded as better than American, in availability and overall cost.
If all Farage really wanted to do was provide some private health based around insurance schemes he need say nothing.. tgat's already available and used. What he really means is he would fold over in trade negotiations with America on their wish to ger access to our health service. Trump would expect no less of his buddy.
How can it ever be wrong to ask what a new party's policies are, or to ask if they matched the expressed views of its leader and whether those have changed.
Farage now says he is going for a no deal when he assured everyone he expected and would fight for a deal. His story on trade in general is wrong on almost every point
He wants privatisation of the health service (like the Americans do.. and why they support leave so strongly). He wants to break the current system and wipe out the two main parties.. fair enough, but he doesn't want to be Prime Minister???? no wonder.. he can't possibly deliver on his promises for a no deal is why.
Fart
The primary subject of a thread is not immaterial just because the facts of the matter don't suit you
On the other subject of what happens next you are so certain you should get some money on it . About 9/1 on oddschecker to leave in November. 9/2 referendum.
"the nominee of the largest group in the EU Parliament is appointed"
So how undemocratic is that then? The largest 'group' is the largest group democratically elected by the people. They are then approved and voted for by the EU Council and the EU parliament.
The process is not perfect, and elected EU country prime ministers wrangling behind closed doors are the least transparent part of this process, but that is how our own countries elected leaders behave.
It would be ludicrous, unbalanced and unfair to people to have the President of the EU commission chosen by a vote of all EU people.
The result would be dominated by the country or country with the biggest population. It would be particularly unpalatable to UK people as Germany and France have larger populations.
The European Commission, has to work on behalf not of one country or one party but on behalf of the whole EU community in an unbiased way, and it is sworn to do so. All EU commissioners are approved by the EU council and the EU parliament.
EU heads of state have oversight of the the EU by being in the EU council. They are elected prime ministers and ministers of each country.
The EU parliament represents the people of the EU and are democratically elected by them.
Juncker has been a poor and clumsy representative for his post, but his legitimate job is to act in the interests of the EU. It is up to MEPs to act for the people. Farage has been appalling in that respect, not bothering to turn up, almost the worst voting record of all, while on record bragging in 2014 of the millions of Euros he had claimed in expenses, and responsible for misusing huge sums of EU funds, ie. tax payers money.
