Agree Xenor. JW is clearly looking to announce anything positive to distract from the ongoing finance deal ( Ferry operating, batteries, green tugs, aluminium hulls ) if there was a multi-million project sat on the quayside we’d know about it.

Respect your opinion, but why would it drop to 8p? We haven’t heard this years results and we have plenty of contracts on the go. It doesn’t seem like there’s a dire need for a financial deal to be signed right away. You’re talking about a considerable drop.

Thankyou for the explanation. I’ve been subject to fundraises before and the price was always discounted. Why would the price be offered at 20p when I could just invest at todays share price of 18p? Thanks.

Forgive my ignorance, what does a 20p funding actually mean? I’m a holder, are we all being offered more shares at a premium or have our shares been watered down? Thanks.

I’m not sure what you mean. I’m just being realistic. I have a 30p average and whilst I’m still optimistic, certainly for next year, this seems like Budd sending out good vibes to stay in his job. Without concrete sales, we’re in the same position as we have been for months.

Without sales this feels like Budd feeding us some scraps (and hope) before the AGM.

Seems like a positive RNS … of course the price would drop.
