That (only one other item on agenda) is contrary to the tweeted reply that none of the items on the agenda has progressed sufficiently. Which is it? has SS not done his homework or is a meeting for 2 applications not worth their while getting together and making a decision (after all, who cares what impact that has).
Isn't it great when supposed investors cant get the price right. 30p wouldn't mean retirement for me but would be pretty life changing (big slice of mortgage gone so monthly outgoings reduced dramatically). Will have to set sights a bit lower I think but good to dream! GLA
Those calculations are for one well yes? How many do you think we'll end up with? Are "octopus wells" still on the cards and what effect would they have on the bpd?
That last one is a genuine question, if you put 3 wells into the same reservoir, surely the flow to each would drop off accordingly.
bidnolid, agree with that and with an average still north of 0.6p I'm not popping champagne corks just yet but will allow myself to enjoy this moment as a small victory at least. Hopefully it continues and quickly but if not, at least the recent trend has been stopped for a bit.

They want to aim for 2032 (remember when 2030 seemed a lifetime away? it's only 12 years now :O) not 2040.

This is actually an interesting question. I don't know the answer but I would hope that what you have in ISA already would just convert to a new name/price even if you had some of the buying company outside of ISA already.
Lovely numbers!
I said "the only way" but of course it's not the only way. If you're able to trade it successfully and do it to increase holding instead of taking profits, then that's another way to build bigger. I tried it a couple of times, wasn't very good at it so haven't tried it recently (also working at small levels, the fees kill you).
:) yep, takes money to make money. I'm small fry. Spare pocket money cash now and then. If I can shorten the mortgage a bit or have a nice holiday one day then happy days, but if I lose out, it's not going to be life changing.
Nice position to be in and I bet there are plenty with bigger numbers. Only way is to be brave (and willing to lose money if it doesnt work out) and accumulate a decent number of shares while they are cheap.
Last year I was doing the same daily maths. "1p = £x, 0.1p=£y" but x was only £600.
