Whether the placing is a good thing or bad, it's proposed at 4:40 on Wednesday and all arranged 7am the next morning, and was pumped up a bit beforehand for good measure.
PI's are always the last to know. (I'm in ODX too for my sins and after being hammered, that's been up a few days in a row this week, then this morning some news is released - some people knew something but not "us"...).
Have missed it. Was there any conclusion/concession? Expecting a point was well put together and well made and the response was just bluster with no content?
@MJFMSG sympathies. I'm sat on a 60.5p average with biggest chunk bought as REM pre consolidation at 72p in todays money. Break even and walk away after so long would be nice but any profit appreciated (will try not to curse the newcomers making 4-500% if it does get to 100p!! - I'm gradually leaving AIM as prices allow, I'm no good at this game, slower and steadier suits me better than sitting at 1/10 book as several of mine are - and all seemed so good at the time).
@RoronoaZoro121 2 months before that it was 45p. How do I know? cos my average is 48p :( :( :( (not my finest moment).
Not much invested and recently it wasnt worth the fees to sell so will hold and hold and hold
To be fair Harbour has a lot of recovery to do (caught it near the top and kept it :( ). TLW was timed better though so hopefully this can continue recovering. Was looking at the price graphs (I'm not a graph whiz just looking back at prices). 56p a month ago, 60p in March was the highest it's been since the big drop in Dec 2019 so getting past 60 would be great!
My 400 quids worth from pre-covid are worth less than the fee to sell them now! Had such high hopes too. Ah well...
Amen Piranha. After all this time breaking even would feel like a win but would be nice to get some more on top out of it. 6p would be 4x for me and I'd take that! Not getting carried away though, can all be wiped back down on a whim but hopefully this is the start of something big.
Oh sorry bernieinspain didnt see yours :O Commiserations (and good luck - you breaking even would be a nice exit for me!) bit sickening that those getting in now would do so well out of such a rise where those that supported earlier woudln't, but of life/investing I guess.
I mis-remembered. it's 1.49p for me but happy to concede to you davac47! Good luck everyone. Got sucked into the DL/SS Gatwick Gusher hype like many and believed that 8,9,10p was just the start when broadford bridge was being drilled.
I'm small fry compared to most (grown up pocket money going in) but having been in the "bottom drawer" for so long, just getting back to break even will feel like a nice windfall.
Just the 100+ bags to go for me :( (1.5p). Can remember where I was when it hit 10p (on holiday checking phone every 2 mins) but got greedy/excited about the possibilities of BB and HH-1(A/B/C/Z/2). Well and truly in the bottom drawer but hopefully Turkey can provide some respite and SCC pull their heads out and we can get to somewhere more respectable so it's actually worth selling.
I'm here until mid april minimum. I imagine/hope it will be more than 75p higher than today by then (2m a week being made and sold).
Scott80 - I received it (from Halifax). didn't understand it so thanks for asking on everyone like us's behalf.
I'm not comfortable sharing the letter but the words are as Scott said.
Closed this Friday, and Monday and Thursday next week.
Tuesday morning could be interesting !
GL and Merry Christmas to everyone on here, you've all been part of the lockdown entertainment for me since May (I was slow on the uptake!).
Interesting letter received today from local secondary school. After a first partial week back of learning from home, they're looking to do rapid tests on all (2000ish?) pupils every 3 days. Letter doesnt say which test though.
Can't imagine that'll happen but I've said before, if it does go nuclear, I hope it's so fast I dont have time to bottle it and sell out.
