Restating the post doesn't answer the points posed by BIB Arahim, the reality is that yes the EV explosion is happening but that we are invested in KOD getting to production. If we take as granted that there is a market available for us to supply into, still the challenges of getting there exist. I'm still in and still holding but the fact remains that the SP slide over the last 12 months needs a 3 or 4 bagger from this point simply to recover what looked a modest position to begin with. That's not a problem but its fair to acknowledge the uncertainties at this point.

From the other side BIB, I don't see much in the way of ramping on this share BIB particularly in comparison to discussions on other share boards and particularly when interest in the market hits.

Dealing with unabated ramping at some point is an issue I'm hoping we have to face...

Not nomally given to pessimism but think you are spot on for this occasion Bat - two nothingy updates about sums it up. ESIA docs with Mali (we knew), Intention to run the bulk samples now they've arrived (we knew), bulk sample has arrived (inevitable conclusion of the ship having sailed but at least now we know it didn't sink on the way).

OK its news at least. Why are the licenses registered directly in the names of subsidiaries of Kodal rather than simply Kodal?

ESIA update is a non update i.e. we know its submitted and waiting for approval - I'm fed up with hearing "expected shortly" in these announcements as its meaningless.

Lastly - can't see a doubling of SP on these sorts of RNS releases. Its going to take much more than that.

I understand the sentiment, however I don't believe the ESIA will shift the share price. Its been my position for quite some time that FS and funding together will be the next inflection point for share price movement (upwards at least). I'm holding and sitting on a big loss at the moment but its worth registering an honest opinion as to the expected non impact of ESIA

I would think that green lithium would now be doomed due to tariffs on entry and exit to EU. Not to start a Brexit debate but that sort of endeavour is the type of thing Brexit prevents and I see UK not being heavily involved in EV manufacture but consuming EV from outside UK.

EMH I think well placed if mining conversion and battery manufacture can be achieved within EU orders and complete batteries installed either in EU or exported to be installed elsewhere (UK)

As always it depends on how far underwater one is as to how uneasy, Lots of news round the corner as discussed elsewhere so I'd like to see impact on SP between now and Christmas. Lithium prices seem to be moving from a bottom now and as discussed by Joe Lowry here and there (I suggest you follow him on linkedin and twitter) the importance of quality for converters and the lack of differentiation between quality grades suitable for EV battery grade and other uses is not clearly made / understood and not reflected in price bands.

Also EV and storage boom is generally expected to be around the corner with prices potentially recovering more strongly as supply chains realise they haven't got their supply chain security sorted (VW plans for EVs vs Li supply chain for example will leave them short I believe).

So, and its only my opinion (and I am also underwater) I'm holding pending actual news and won't be buying too heavily into any negative echo chamber sentiment until some hard news dictates a different course of action.

People with a different amount of skin in the game may well feel differently

17th Nov lates, 45 days after submission as per RNS 3rd Oct. I believe from previous discussions (but can't lay them to hand) that Mali have a 45 day response time so 17th is the latest but it could be earlier.

That seems hopeful in the extreme ARahim,
can't put it down to rewarding friends and colleagues every time there's a raise. I read it personally as money is very thin at the moment and promises that we are fully funded which have been made are based on agreements which have yet to be converted to legally binding signed agreements. We are IMO in an extremely risky phase of KOD development. Time will tell as I'm too stubborn / stupid to throw the towel in

Also, operational problems in brine creates space for hard rock producers. Long slow grind to get to production and return on investment but just a question of time IMO with the caveat one needs to back a horse which will get to the finish line (production).

ESIA will deffo be in hand , MLA hopefully. Could really do with the SP recovering prior to the presentation.

I don't buy into the sp manipulation stuff particularly. Its just not being traded in volume IMO, recent chatter regarding Li prices recovering coincided with a bump in BCN and KOD sp and we seem to have retained most of it while BCN have slipped back. Comparative volumes on PREM and VAST in the hundreds of millions indicate to me a flurry of interest but I think that may die down in the absence of news over there. Here we wait for ESIA and MLA and as funding talks approach we may be fortunate enough to see similar. Anyone who thinks there's rampers and derampers here should take a wander over there for a gander.

Some interesting points in there. Its a different strategy to MLL to be sure. I look foward to seeing how this is received when we look to obtain funding.

I'll personally feel a lot better when the FS hits (any ideas how long after ESIA?) as the position will clarify somewhat.

You'll get a mixed response fella. 0.5 is an average you may be waiting a while to get back to (7 or 8 bagger from here). ESIA response from Mali govt should be here by mid November (17th ish).
