From the RNS
"The extension was not at Tlou's request, as the Company is on track to submit a comprehensive proposal."
Then in the interview
"It was a one-month extension based on some clarification questions that we sought on the tender documents. We received those responses from the government. We were very happy with those responses As a result of that, they pushed it out a month because they had responded."
So TLOU knew what had caused the delay. "based on some clarification questions that we sought" In official process' like this, you don't just phone up and ask a question. You have to write to them. It goes through whatever channels it does before the questionee then writes back. So why not mention that they asked some questions in the RNS and this is likely why there has been a delay. TLOU made it out like they had no idea why it was delayed when in reality they knew they were the likely cause of it.
I did eventually listen to it, yes. It's just the same old. I feel like I've watched the same interview about 5 times now. Outlining the same goals, but with some items slowly drifting from their initial dates. The end about the delay in rfp date stated it was not us who asked for the extension but in the latest interview we are being told it was because we questioned the government. It all seems a bit suspicious to me. The post with the government officials was so much fluff. Those officials probably had photos taken with another 40 companies that day. I'd say sentiment is worse than it's been for a long time. We've gone from being sure were going to be awarded the rfp to 'likely' being awarded. I really hope that we do get the rfp. If we don't the share price is going into the 4's again within 6 months if you ask me as I see a placing coming in the next 6 months. Tlou is by far my biggest investment and as much as people bang on about bots not being corrupt, I'm doubtful. I wouldn't be surprised to see a brown envelope decide the rfp award. The sentiment may be up with a few long term holders but the single figure trade numbers each day shows that investors don't share this opinion.
It's not going to be soon. It states a month at least once they make the decision to re-start mining. The decision seems like it's only going to come later on in the year, IF they can get the money together. If we get mining started back in 2018 I'll be surprised. Very disappointing news.
There will be nothing major with regards to farm in IMO. If there was they wouldn't have waited until the half-year report to publish them. When was the last time you found out anything significant about operations from any AIM company on a half or year-end report?
Ok. Fair enough. I can't see a tech gadget having that much margin myself but I have no evidence of this so I can't bangive on about it. I just would have thought they would go with a lower margin to get units shifted and the brand out there.
Hi Nick, Where are you seeing these EJ filed accounts? I saw your earlier post about the maths behind the EJ sales. Are you saying they'll be making 50% profit of every unit they sell? Cheers Chris
Easily get 2p? How on earth have you come to that conclusion? They have just announced they have sold all (no numbers) of their stock in the UK and it can't even get 1p. So you're saying just announcing that they're launching in the US without any sales will more than double the share price?
Yes, there were 2 decent buys. Are you ignoring the sells on purpose? There's been more selling than buying. What good is one person lumping money in if almost everyone else is selling?
Are none of you guys concerned about the lack of any numbers in yesterday's RNS? Selling out of 200k worth of units would be a real result but the opposite could be said for selling just 1k EJ'S. With yesterday's RNS it could be either. It's a bit vague. Even without the figures though I expected this to rise further. It doesn't look like a great sign for investor confidence that it's started in the red today after the news. FYI. I was invested in this stock but sold at a minor loss. I'm still keeping an eye on it out of interest. Cheers Chris
Why would he average down? I've never understood averaging down. Unless you've put a very small amount into this share in the first place then you've put an amount in you were willing to risk in this or any other company. If you've come into some more money and you want to risk more then fine but why would you average down if nothing has changed? You're risking more money in a share that so far has shown no signs of positivity. The further the SP falls the less the rise will be on good news in almost all cases. Yes, you can make the argument of the company being worth X amount based on sales figures etc.. but how often does it work out doing that? How often do shares that have fallen a lot rise to a price that matches the calculations made based on cash in bank, assets etc..? If you're honest, the share rose to 1.5 on sentiment of people thinking this would be a huge success which it is not until they release any figures. Selling out on a store proves nothing until you know how many units were in stock. The people quoting moving up the amazon ranks were quoting this a week or 2 ago but it fell massively.
You're basing your statement of "it is selling very well on QVC and is proving very popular with viewers" on 2 replies to tweets you've had from a guy who is PAID to try and sell these things. Just like he was selling tom toms last month. He's not going to tell you they're not selling is he? He probably gets some sort of bonus the more he sells. He wants it to appear the product is selling and people like it. When he was selling tom tom last month without someone like you tweeting asking him how it's selling he put this "JWarehouse stock of today's @UKTomTom on @qvcuk is disappearing quickly - over 75% gone already! Back on air at 2, 5, 8 and 10, see you then!" as opposed to replies to you saying "everyone is loving it" and "lots of people jumped on board and bought it, reviews should follow" I've not seen one review yet on QVC site. I'm not trying to undermine this stock but I don't want people reading your posts and thinking you have any clue of sales figures on QVC. They're probably featuring it a lot as it's not selling. If it was selling fast then they'd have sold out by now. Why don't you ask him how many units they have sold exactly and see what he says?
Panicing stopped. Stop loss kicked in so my panic had turned to sadness.
Please tell me I can panic now. My stop loss is going to kick in shortly. I'm not sure the Boom results will save YOLO as they own such a small percentage of them compared to their investments in the terrible EJ. There are just no evidence of sales at all. People who are saying it's selling well are either flat out lying or just gullible. People are basing the good sales on a tweet from the guy who was paid to demo it on QVC. He's not going to tell people it's not selling is he while he's being paid to get this product to sell. I tracked the stock on selfridges from the day it went on and they haven't even sold 20 units of the black. The red and the blue have shifted 3-4 units each. From the electronics rankings it's not selling on Amazon either. I'm pretty sure (although I have no evidence) that they stocked amazon with a very small amount at first. This is why it appeared to sell out. If my stop loss doesn't kick in I'm hoping the boom results will be enough to just about push it over 1p again. I can cut my losses and run then. Good luck if you're staying in. Cheers Chris
I can't see the SP moving without half decent sales figures being released. You can market a product all you want but if it doesn't sell then it's pointless. I can't see people buying this share because it has a 49%? interest in a company that is now advertising their product. TV advertising should have already done. The fact that they are advertising on TV wouldn't make me buy a this share if i wasn't already in. I'd just see that as standard marketing for a product like this. Not a bonus to make me invest.
Then I apologise. That doesn't appear to show on the mobile site. It's not a great ranking but hopefully it can gather some pace. Sheldon: you don't like the stock. You think EJ is utter tosh. We get it. Can you go away now? We have recieved the message too many times. Most of are on this board as we're holders looking for any information we may not have spotted ourselves. You're starting to look like a tit now. Why do you keep coming on here and slating the product exactly? I understand calling out lies but to spend most of your time reminding you don't like this share just seems silly. Cheers Chris
Can you see that info? I thought it was top 100 only available to view. Just give us a link. If you don't it will point at you making things up which is what I suspect. Cheers Chris
Where have you got this Amazon information from CPN? From what I can tell, they have sold around 10 on Selfridges site so far. You can select the number of items you want and as you increment the number it goes red and tells you there's no that many when you hit a number you don't have.
Sorry. Pressed post. I don't think they'll have to do anymore than appearing on the website and the adverts/media already recorded. Hope I'm wrong.
