Do you think the celebs will post anything on social media? I don't. I don't think their contract will cover them having to endorse the product anymore than appearing in
I wasn't aware of this Reg. That's good news. I still feel that TV advertising. In print I'd read the article and just see the price tag. With video ito will better show how easy it is to use. That's just my opinion though. Cheers Chris
Hi adekela, I think the big concern is theasy marketing so far. You can have the best website in the world but it's useless if people don't get told it's there. I'm hoping once this hits qvc it might take off a little. Not loads but enough to push the SP up a bit. Cheers Chris
Hi Sonic, I had this back from the PR company also. Hope this answers your question. "Selfridges have a period of exclusivity up to the end of this week. The new electric jukebox website has gone live, supported with targeted and cost effective TV advertising, and magazine inserts planned for late November/ early December. There is a comprehensive and targeted media schedule with a host of other initiatives, including emails to Robbie Williams fans." Cheers Chris
I'm still a holder and am still in profit on this share at current SP so does that mean I'm stalking myself? If I get the right answers about advertising campaings I will invest more for the short term. Literally 5 minutes after I said I hadn't had a reply from the company I got one from YOLO's PR company with the below information. I wonder if they monitor these forums or it was a coincidence I've gone back to them and asked about TV ad campaigns "In the UK, Electric Jukebox will initially launch with; Amazon, Selfridges (who have a period of exclusivity), Argos, QVC and Direct with website and social media campaigns. There are early agreements with retailers in the US and Europe for when the product launches in these markets." Cheers Chris
is a good share and lets not forget it's more than just EJ. the EJ element is a little worrying though. The blue and red units haven't sold in a week on Amazon and from what I can tell nothing has sold at all on the selfridges site. If they are targeting the non tech savy they need to get a big TV ad campaign going and sharpish. The non tech savy will not be browsing the internet shopping. They'll want to see a TV advert showing them how this works and explaining it's benefits. Sticking it on QVC would also help but on both these fronts they are leaving it extremely late, with people likely to have started or be starting their Christmas shopping very soon. FYI: I did mail the company like people told me too, but have had no reply.
Stupid auto correct. SELFRIDGES
*selridges
Although the title of the post I replied to was argos I was replying to adekela saying they are available on selfri does site now
Looks like they're stocking 15 units of the black.
"Imminent though as Amazon/Selfridges have started gaining traction in sales and i am sure the former would not want to be left behind" This was a day after it went into Selfridges. How do you know how many they are selling? With stocks it really bugs me if I see comments bases on hearsay. If they have come out and said we've sold 500 units in 5 days then that's great and it's solid. Everyone is saying how well sales are going but there's no numbers. We don't know how many Amazon had in stock in the first place. If i had to guess, and it's just that, then I'd say it was low as the blue and red units have been sat there static for a few days now. If the unit was in demand so much people would buy those colours as well. For transparency, I'm a holder of this stock. Any false facts/reviews out there only harm the SP in my opinion. I'm in this for the medium term. If people believe it's selling really well then they may buy into the stock but they'll come out just as quickly if these predictions masked as facts don't come to fruition. If enough holders start selling it may cause others to sell in panic of a quickly declining SP or stop losses to be hit. I don't want an artificial rise based on rumors so I will disagree with anyone that makes claims they can't back up. Cheers Chris
I have e-mailed them thanks Cyrox. I only ask as there seems to be a lot of false information going round about YOLO currently. All the fake reviews on Amazon are not helping at all but it's good to see they now have more black units in stock ready for delivery next day.
Where are you getting this information. I wouldn't go off anything Faz says. He fabricated a message from argos a week ago and continues to product 'facts' without end evidence.
