Really ?23 Dec 2022 11:39
Good morning.I am not a holder. I sold out at 17p when I realised that the company would not be able to monetise on Covid at any significant way.YGEN however is still in my Google watchlist, mostly as i’ve just not deleted any entries for years.I am not surprised by the SP drop. Not only is it not a well-run company, but the management team has for years suffered of the false illusion of grandiose, which unfortunately always is followed with spending a lot of money, so it could go only one way in my view. I am however surprised in areas.1) Even with an abysmal leadership, I would not have thought the SP would go under 4-5p. But 0.33p (51x less my last sell) says a lot.2) I’m amazed the CEO is still the same. If a 50x drop in company value can’t get a boss fired, in the midst of the highest medical and diagnostics spend the world has ever seen, then what can ?3) The fact that the company has this idea that another bunch of investors will subsidise there onwards spiral into the diagnostic abyss with some unfounded comment on some “big things” that may (or may not) happen. Again, a false illusion of grandiosity. They have promised “cost cuttings” which is an easy thing to do, whilst begging holders to cough up more, whilst keeping the same people in charge…..FFS people, any director who deflates the value of a business with 50x MUST go. No if’s no but’s…..It’s your money, but what on earth are you thinking ??????
