Bp up this morning when POO is up, POO is still up but BP down and in the red when yanks come on line... Whats going on??? I would have thought BP would be close to £6 by now... not bouncing between 5.7 and 5.8

Sure looks like Trump is going to say something as BP down from 5.79 to 5.68. Strait still closed jet fuel running very low ... Not sure why the drop this should be higher?..... Surely if the strait remain closed for another week or so then there will be a rise back to $112+ PBO.. m sure i was reading as well that BP in Q1 announcement will show an increase in Debt... What manipulation is going on there given how much additional cash flow and profits we should be making... Surely debt should be reduced which will in turn help the SP to go higher?

Seems like a lot of profit taking today as the drop is about 15p at the moment.. POO is up again so may recover some ground later me thinks, but that will depend on the yanks.. Will look to sell remaining shares after 6 April to use CGT allowance and hope to get into BARC at about 3.50 for the FTSE bonce once this is over... And wait there for the BP price drop back to 4.50 ish once oil comes back to about $65 PB... well thats the plan... lets see if it comes to pass

How low can this go, i have a just put in a buy if it reaches £3 again, not sure if it will ... but will be happy to use some of my BP profit to buy back in at that level

Like others i could not ignore this jump up today so sold another 6000 at 5.804 for a nice profit, as my ave price was £4.01.. this will go higher me thinks but never hurts to bank that profit... Still letting circa final 6000 shares run for a while... Then look for some buying opportunities once all this settles back down...big drop in BARC today... may pop o few of those in my portfolio

Oil now just hit $100 PB, so this may go even higher in the next few days... Hold on to your hats

Just sold 4837 shares at 5.27011 nice little profit from ave price of £4.0123 per share and CGT to pay but life moves on... Only 20,000 left to sell now... Will look to reduce holding further probably in chunks of 5000 in coming days if continues to rise

Looks like SP may have a little further to run as PoO now $98.57 PB.. This could pass £5.20 later today or tomorrow

I have a similar holding. Sold some yesterday to use my CGT allowance and then add to ISA next year. Will also look to sell half of the remainder tomorrow or Monday to realise a profit.. Pay CGT on those for this period.. The look to sell remainder on or soon after 6th April and so kicking CGT down the road into next tax year.. As has been said will either look for other options or a re entry point of about 4.40 later once all this settles down and POO drops

Brent up 16.4% so PoO is at 107.9 PB, and this dog of a share is can't hold a 12p opening gain and is now only up 5p.. How long before we are in the red today.. Amazing what will it take to get the SP to rise... Over the past months we have followed the price of oil.. and now ???

BP, mm are taking the Mick now its just not possible with POO at $89 PB that we are struggling at £5. There is in my opinion some serious manipulation going on here. One would hope that either later today or Monday there would be a good tick up/ but not sure about that... Only thing certain is if today POO goes down even to $85 PB this SP will be in the red... Un believable

Makes no sense as POO is now up over 8% at $84 per barrel.. Cant say i have ever seen anything like this manipulation

I agree something very suspicious going on hear with the BP SP, Oil up and SP not even looking like its going to test £5 at the moment. And you can be sure if POO goes down 1% SP will drop by 5%. Question is who is benefiting from keeping SP down? Even if there is an oil glut today that will very quickly disappear and the POO will go even higher and stocks will spike. Surely better to have a gradual rise.. never trust the MM some one is totally manipulating this

What a Dog this share is, i was hoping for it to hit £5 so i could get my money back after a 2 year wait. Once out never to return.. wait goes on looks like i will have to wait another 2 years

Is this drop Friday blues, or profit taking with a little extra added as we didn't get the usual ex divi drop yesterday due to the news and the POO going up?? lets hope we can continue the upward trend next week??? But have to say it is a little surprising given the FTSE is up 70 pips

£4.70 is definitely a hard nut to crack and stay above for any period of time

BP results as expected and as mentioned the buy backs have been stopped, but the underlying performance was good. So i was expecting may be a dip off 2% so surprised now to see we are 5.5% down... Seems a little over reactive to me but as said the MM are very hard to please for BP these days. Hope we can make this drop back soon and consolidate at those levels before a push to £5 and over
