Any ideas why this is going south, it cant be just because of the potential Castrol sale. Prior to that wisper we were at 4.66 going back up to a recent high of 4.76. I thought any sale of between 6 to 8 B would be ok and good to help pay down the debt and that figure would already be priced in. So why the downturn now..

Totally agree, its a complete joke now this share. Once it gets to £4.50 im out never to return...BOD are a complete disgrace.. Couldn't run a bath let alone a large FTSE 100 company

FTSE up and at an all time high, Shell up, oil up yet BP is down again. What is it going to take to get this dog of a share back to somewhere near £5... you know as soon as the FTSE drops for a little profit taking, this dog will go into free fall faster than a sky diver

Cant even hold £4.00 for a day, was hoping for a little more to the upside today, and then a little consolidation on the way to £4.50 ish

Even with all what's going on this share Get over £4.00 this can't even hold a small gain into the £3.90's let alone get over 4, what a dogs diner this share is becoming. now a long, long, long term hold

I see we are following the POO again, we have a day up and get into the 3.90's and what ever happens next day we are down and back in the 3.80's or at 2.30 the yanks/mm take it down. What do we have to do to breakout of this 3.85-3.95 range. You have to wonder if there is something else in play here by the MM's???

So now FTSE up, POO up over the weekend, BP slight up. POO drops a tad and BP follows it down, so a 6p gain this morning to match the £3.95 set on Friday has now gone and were down 1.5p what a load off ballcrap this share is. Also wonder how much manipulation there is here by the MM in keeping it down??

Sorry no, i have been in BP for the past 8 or so years, some of my holding is bought at close to £6.00 (that was a while ago now) and my ave price is £4.54 so it would be nice to get close to that again, irrespective of the divi payments

The SP for BP is a Joke, given what is going on, Iran oil facilities being hit, POO up and mid 70's and we cant even hold 3.94.. we should be way over 4 and at least 4.50.... Joke

Whats going on at the moment we have no momentum and just seem to be holding in a range of 3.55 to 3.65 .... why are we not breaking out or at least going up with FTSE moves

This share never fails to disappoint, just when you think it may have a little momentum to the upside, BOOM there it goes again. Soooooooooooooooooo glad my vote is in to replace the board

Well we have managed to reset the dial to sub £4 again. How low will this go before the CEO and BOD go. Clueless im not even sure now that a takeover will come as we are such a dismally run company, if it does come it will be because MM take the SP down to sub £3 and shell or any other will pick us up for £4.5 to £5 a share.
