Axtel expands broadband, pay-TV services to Puebla

Mexican fixed-line operator Axtel has launched its X-tremo broadband internet service and Axtel TV pay-TV offering in the city of Leon, in the state of Guanajuato. Axtel provides these services via its FTTX network. Nearly 60,000 homes and businesses in Leon can now take up Axtel’s voice, broadband internet and pay-TV services, either as part of double-play or triple-play packages. Subscribers can access internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
The Mexican operator plans to invest over USD 27 million to develop its infrastructure and services in Puebla over the next five years. Axtel’s X-tremo broadband internet service and pay-TV offering in also available in the cities of Mexico, Guadalajara, Monterrey, San Luis Potosi, Queretaro, Puebla, and Aguascalientes.
