It seems to me that Adam is now running the company and his vision based on his experience and knowledge of what can be done will be quite different from Robins.
I think he'll take us to an investment company, pop people he trusts onto the boards of the companies and utilise his Glencore and reputation to build a sizeable portfolio.
If this does prove to be the case, I will be very happy

Whilst you may not see selling say 75% and maintaining a minority holding as giving up the reins I do. This wouldn't be receiving a royalty, but a dividend.
As to their ages, I'm sure they will be looking at what will make them and their families the most money, which would most likely be having a stake in KM when the Nickel price hits the sort of levels people are talking about.

Am not sure you fully understood my post

I'm not going to compare the sale of a copper gold deposit a few years ago with a Nickel sulphide one (hopefully in the near future).
As for numbers, we have a PFS number, I have taken a view and added on the secondary metals which we are led to believe will be paid for, an increased resource, the seperate copper concentrate and ran the model for varying future Nickel prices.
My discounted base figure is about 2.5bn with significant upside depending on Nickel price.
I have not included an increase of the processing from 6-10MTPA but believe it may be something whoever takes this project on will do.
At BFS I don't think a sale / JV value of 40% of NPV is unachievable.

The idea that we are not making money with NRR is interesting and not something I agree with.
Yes, at present we are not equity holders and therefore not entitled to a dividend, but when we convert to equity at a later date we will be inheriting a proportion of the substantial reserves accumulated to fund phase 2 of the project or a project with the Capex in place for phase 2

My belief is that AMC will look to sell a majority stake in Zao Kun Manie for a significant sum (for arguments sake let's say 75% for 750m).
That would leave AMC with 20% of RB, 25% of KM and 750m in the bank.
I'd expect a large proportion of that 750m to be returned to share holders via special dividend

Absolutely GB33, as I said, my thoughts on the future of AMC and what our new President may have planned.

I've got a view on the project economics and don't see the TEO as a risk so my focus well into next year

Since the Roper Bar investment and in particular, Adam's promotion to President, I have been wondering what the long term strategy of AMC now is.

I always thought that it would be a straight takeover with a single big payout to us shareholders.

I don't think this is the case now and I believe that the rewards to us holders of 1.3bn shares will be substantially greater, albeit over time.

My views on Adam:
He is now directing this company
He has major contacts in the mining space
He is about leveraging to get things done
He has a longer term plan for AMC than Kun Manie
He is trustworthy

I think that by the end of next year (sometime around BFS), AMC is going to hold 19% in Roper Bar, 25% in Kun Manie, possibly a further investment and have a shed load of cash in the bank.

I think that there will be an exceptional dividend to reward shareholders of a few hundred million and the rest will go back into future investments utilising his contacts and expertise to unlock the potential and value of junior miners.

AMC is where he is going to make his mark, and I am happy to be along for the ride

AMC is doing what they have always said they are, continuing towards production.

At some point somebody's going to come in and say thank you for all your hard work but we'll take it from here and hand us a big fat cheque.

The unknown is when it will happen, in my view it is somewhere between the TEO being approved and BFS being completed.

We will be on everybody's radar, any doubt about it, just look at the investment Glencore have facilitated in order to get access to our future product.

Yes, it is a large amount, but I suspect phase one will allow significant cash reserves to be built up.

The offtake with Glencore is interesting because it's seems to be set up for the Reuben brothers to do everything in house
