3p ish shortly after sign off, moving up to 4p by end May is my prediction.

I have no problem with the slight delay in finalizing, but as TW said, they really should have RNS'd it.

As part of the RNS they could have pointed the market towards the latest presentation which I thought gave a lot of exceptional information very clearly.

As it is, only those who read this BB are aware of it which seems a total waste.

I saw somebody mentioned something about a family bereavement, i've not seen that mentioned anywhere else, but whilst sad, Kefi is a company that is set up to continue progression through staff leave, sick days, family emergencies etc. I am sure that there a few directors there that could have put a few sentences together briefly explaining to the market the remaining finessing.

Just that he has no doubt that funding will be secured but that Kefi should have updated the market with the end of February deadline being missed

@cutandpolished61, you might want those things to happen, but they are not the real world.

"Ethiopia would resist losing control of a strategic gold asset", Why would they lose control? they'd have their stake in Tulu Kapi, still generate tax revenues. They'd welcome a major with billions of cash available.

"Lenders would likely block change‑of‑control", why would they? a Major reduces the risk of repayment to themselves. Majors have deep enough pockets to repay the debt instantaneously if necessary

"Saudi partners would block access to the Arabian assets", again, why would they? It's only a 13% investment. Plus Kefi have their own sole license.

Kefi Group structure has been set up to allow flexibility as well as independance between subsidiary companies. Whether it is Kefi Group at the top or a Major is pretty irrelevant

Just finished reading through the presentation.

Holders here are going to be absolutely minted.

It is hard to comprehend just how much money will be made on both share price growth and future dividends.

I've said it before and i will say it again, text book Lassonde growth curve from here to production.

I think historically, Kefi has favored a Tuesday morning RNS.

Perhaps the website is being updated to coincide with this.

It could certainly do with a good revamp

I posted a year or so ago that the rumours were that Trump would look to revalue gold on 4th July, independence day, 250 year celebration.

There's also no way Trump will leave after his 2 term limit.

I've no doubt this share is going to make me millions in the next year or so.

I don't think it is a conspiracy, it couldn't be any clearer.

If it is delayed slightly then i've no problem waiting a little longer in order for Harry to get the best possible deal at this stage.

The project is cracking on now which is what I care about about

Tulu Kapi is a very simple mine and processing plant.

A real benefit is that there is no overburden, so it's pretty much straight into excavating gold.

This will enable Kefi to build up so very nice stock piles ahead of production

It's pretty simple, that's why there is such a thing as the Lassonde Curve.

We are at the the start of construction and will follow an upward trajectory / increase in Value as we progress towards production.

Each piece of news along the way will bring in new investors and lock in share price gains.

The next being full sign off which will provide us the next leg up.

When we look back as production starts and we are sitting at 15p plus, many will be like... Wow, the Lassonde Curve was a real thing.

The Ground breaking ceremony last week showed good site progress being made.

The attendance by the Prime minister, deputy prime minister, regional governor, royalty company representatives, bank representatives and local community leaders shows the importance of this project to the country.

Nothing is stopping it now

Plus the fact that Tulu Kapi has security arrangements in place at an extremely high standard and is well experienced of being within the country.

Based upon what we saw and those in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony, nobody is in the slightest bit nervous

Kefi's position is that the launch / development of Tulu Kapi would bring resolution to the over pegged areas and have them returned.

We have just began construction, so would expect to see movement on this in the coming months.

Kefi obviously believe that they have a good case that the licenses were re-issued inappropriately and i'd not bet against Harry.

As to Askari, it could be very painful for their shareholders

Kefi will be over 4p in the next couple of months as the value gap is simply too large at the moment and needs to close.

Everything is in place for Kefi to experience text book value growth during the construction phase

There are half a dozen reasons for why this should be a lot higher than it is. But it's not. So to say it would be if there was a chance of a takeover isn't representative of how the share price is behaving.

Whether we like it or not, the mergers & acquisition market is hotting up and we've just seen the other major pre-production Ethiopean asset get acquired in a multi billion dollar deal.
