Might there currently be takeover discussions occurring at this very moment which is why we've not seen the equity element signed off yet.

Does the thought of bringing in a royalty company and locking in to give away hundreds of millions of future income for just $20m now make an interested acquirer move ahead of the deal?

My current position is that I wouldn't take less than 7p now, less than 12p early next year or less than 15p once production starts.

(This will obviously increase with Saudi JV news, Konso drilling etc. etc.)

What Kefi has is special, the fact that you'd reject 8-9p now shows that you know it, so do all the potential acquirers which is why we will see moves soon

Following financial sign off, I believe an offer will need to be 7p or more in order to get the required shareholder approval.

As i've said, i think we will see offers start to be made in the very near term.

Personally, i believe that there will currently be many interested parties in both the Ethiopian & Saudi data rooms and its important to remember these potential acquirers are sat on loads of cash at the moment.

Kefi has to progress towards production, but anybody who thinks majors aren't running the numbers right now do not understand what is happening in the wider market

It's sensible to consolidate as part of the move to a Main Market listing. Before that is completely unnecessary.

Would like to see a noticeable shift in PR and keeping stakeholders / the market informed of progress once the Financing is fully signed off
