We don’t really know the reasons for the sell but this may have been the very large trade that showed up Wednesday morning.
The sales was effectively for deferred salary from 2008, I don’t see a problem with this, 13 years to wait for salary is a long time.
@Norfolk
Even when we have news we’ll still get this peak/trough and high volatility, there will always be day and swing traders taking their gains to pastures new
Did anyone see the trade reported just before open.
There's the reason for the opening price
Because they bought at the end of jan when the price dropped to close to 10p
Hi 3CB I'm not being critical to LC and CB just questioning the possibility that major news will be announced so close to a director buying.
Just my thoughts, I may be way off the mark her but, I don't think there will be price sensitive information released in the next couple of weeks, given that LC and CB have recently bought shares.
Imagine the fury and the potential insider trading accusations if the released news of an agreement in another mining jurisdiction this week, it could be claimed that they had strong indication that with was going to happen soon.
IMO
We are only just sub 300 million but we should be way higher as far as I’m concerned
Billy the share has increased 4 x from the 0.6p you have quoted.
There are a huge number of people sitting on a significant profit, they are taking some or all of that profit now to de-risk, invest in another share or spend, this demand to sell will not always match the demand to buy, for some people the purchase of this share will be a no-brainer, to others a massive risk dependent on their risk profile.
When supply outweighs demand the price will naturally drop, and there will not always be people who want to pay the current bid, so to complete a trade the bid may need to drop.
This is how the stock market works and how liquidity in a share is maintained.
A share never goes up in a straight line.
Northern/Jonah,
Exactly.
then what are you complaining about?
When did Billy buy at 6p?
I think Billy bought at the recent peak and is suffering a bit so is venting.
What is happening.
The shares are being traded and the price is moving according to supply, demand and the current market conditions.
Yes I understand that but why bother when you can get a better ROI on processing tailings.
I would prefer JLP just proved up then sold In the asset to be honest.
They can make more then enough from tailings this has been proven, and so much more scope world wide, why build a mine with 100 millions of dollars when you can process tailings for a fraction of the cost and clean up the environment.
No brained for me.
Of course the issue dilutes the share holding but we are talking about 34 million shares in a company with 7 billion shares issued
It will be a very long time befor we hit £1 if ever.
Yes they have to post this information because it will have a material impact on an aspect of the companies project and will ultimately affect the value of the company
You do realise that the reported buys/sells are just an estimation of the nature of a trade dependent on the position of the trade price within the spread at the time the trade was made.
Every reported trade has a buyer and seller.
Don't forget some people have a glass half empty mentality
