Interesting Broxburn. I believe everything happens for a reason and what better opportunity for them to buy EUA now, literally on their doorstep with a large portion of the infrastructure already in place. I just can’t see how NN can let this opportunity pass them by

Anyone’s else think this is maybe a bit short sighted by RUSAL? They don’t want it to affect their dividend but in order to sustain the dividend long term surely they’ve got to understand NN have to invest in resource to secure their future?

I’m sure they’re a lot cleverer than I am but I just can’t see how NN wouldn’t kick themselves forever if they let Eurasia be sold to a competitor...

Peter47 - what makes you think they’re not in the driving seat? 12 months ago the sp was around 3p and it’s now holding steady around 28p give or take so whatever news that has been released is enough to hold the share price at 10 times what it was 12 months ago.

Some people moan about posting extracts from RNS’s but this from just 6 weeks ago should answer their queries about what’s going on, and what can be released from the BoD:

Good to see they give an estimation of when the deal will be complete too.

Hoping we get a compensated majority cash though from the EUA sale personally - this would make sense as UBS, CITIC DLA Piper plus the BoD who take no salary will also need squaring up and to do this with buyers shares sounds extremely complicated!

With any luck today’s the day would like to know where we stand with the sale scenario now, been patient for the last 14 months but these last couple of weeks behave been a bit tedious.
