It's been quite a while since we've had one of those days where we close 15-20% up but it's a real buzz when they come around. Let's get back to where we should be now!

I could be wrong but I’ve got a feeling the boredom of the last month or so may be behind us things with EUA and the fun’s about to start...

Whatever’s going on we’ve hardly been below 28p for 6-7 weeks now so it’s a massive positive that ii’s are still happy to accumulate at this range and don’t expect it to drop from here. They must be very confident in where Eurasia is heading

Peter47 - Eurasia is a moving target as there are still licenses that have been applied for that haven't concluded yet, but there are some that have concluded such as MT flanks. Eurasia never put themselves up for sake they were approached - so they're not going to put tools down to see if a sale happens. They carry on mining and applying for new permits in case the sale doesn't happen which is what they've done, although I think the chances of a sale not happening now are few to none, personally.

Belstaff - would only be another 20% above the sp high around 5 weeks ago. Definitely not out of the realms of possibility

I find it extremely reassuring the SP has held solid between 28-30p for the last 5/6 weeks with now news for 8 weeks. I don’t see many other shares doing that.

You could argue I’m not comparing apples with apples but look at UFO & OMI’s drop backs to less that half their peaks for the same period. At least we’re holding within 75% of ours

Think there will be a lot seeking counselling once this is wrapped up to figure out life after Eurasia. Chance are it’ll be on a warm sunny beach somewhere

No doubt the last few weeks have been boring but what can you do. Personally I’m glad it’s holding up in this range when we haven’t had any thing from the BoD since 30th Sept, nearly 2 months.

Remember where we were 12 months ago....or even 5 months ago locked in suspension at 7.2p. We’re now 4 x higher and holding steady every possibility of a sharp increase in the short term.

Anyone know if Eurasia have ever dropped a major RNS on a Friday after hours before?

Bare in mind if this isn’t wrapped up this year then orthodox Christmas in Russia is 7th Jan so there could be a couple of week over Christmas when not a lot happens on the FSP side? Obviously all stakeholders will be fully aware of this already so would make sense to wrap up before UK Christmas if possible.

Equally on a deal of this scale I guess if UBS, DLA Piper etc need to work over Christmas then it’s not out of the realms of possibility, but it is a good incentive for everyone to get the graft done and dusted before Christmas.

I’ll hedge my bets on the deal being announced before Christmas.

Agree with that Mannamead! I’ve got a few on the watchlist I’ll be putting a chunk in but nothing that takes up as much time as EUA has over the last year or so!
