What is there to be negative about regarding Eurasia HappyScot?

I get the scare no getting of lockdown might unnerve some and MM’s will probably latch on to it as some point going off the games that have been played over the last few weeks.

But imagine getting shaken out this morning and the RNS lands this afternoon or following days. Last RNS’s state the BoD and Dmitry’s main focus is the sale so that where majority of the companies resources will be, aided by CITIC, UBS, DLA Piper plus whoever else the buyer(s) have working on their side. Hell of a lot of top tier professionals working on this deal for 4 months officially, up to 12 months in total.

Well considering the sales process started last October when CITIC & VTB approaches Eurasia to see if they’d sell and an RNS 10/11 months later still confirming multiple interested parties I’m confident they’re still engaged and interested. With the teams and resource they have it wouldn’t take them 10/11 months to decide Eurasia isn’t for them. I believe the FSP initiated in July was done so as most had completed due diligence and this is when the negotiations started.

Commodities like PGM’s and gold are one of the safest bets in recessions, everyone knows that. Palladium is still well above $2000 per ounce and the demand will still be there when this blows over, Rhodium still above $13k per ounce too which Eurasia have said makes up 1 of the 4 main metals in their basket.

In hindsight anyone in the world would have bought between 1-22p as we now sit at 29p so a lot, including myself have made a tidy sum, but haven’t sold as more than confident this will sell for far higher.

There are a few though that think they have missed the boat (I think there’s still good potential to make money here honestly) or are short and spend time admittedly trying to wind the board up. You say it’s amusing but you only get one life and I’d say you’re better off investing that time with your wife and kid, as your ‘knowledge’ And MBA aren’t of any use here trying to reset expectations of people that have been here for a lot longer than yourself

I’m sure you said that people that bought in at 25p or less will do very well the other day Patt, now you’re saying if only one buyer interested 25-28p likely? You’re 2 posts don’t really correlate?

But the last RNS that mentioned interested parties did say ‘multiple’ and that they had approached the company. So I’ll stick to the what the RNS said....

A few weeks ago when the interims dropped the SP rose from 17p to 39p, the 39p was a Friday as well! 130% increase over just over a week. A whiff of a resource upgrade or sale RNS and this could end up ££’s

Agree RMR! EUA have their own legal expert on the BoD to get it so far. I think DLA were brought in to audit, finalise and sign off

No wonder the sales process has taken so long looking at the KAZ RNS the other day it was a beast. To write that out, check it l, audit it and get everyone to sign off on it must take a team in itself

RMR1969 - no I think we’re well passed that, sorry my last might not read right. I was saying a date would have been set for offers from the multiple interested parties as there needs to be some structure and timeline. I was talking past tense.

I agree with you I think the legal teams are working through the fine details, sale price has been agreed and buyers finances vetted to ensure their offer is viable. Like if you’re selling your house and have multiple offers, you don’t always go with the highest if they’re in a chain with a mortgage, as the next offer down might be a cash buyer ready to go.

I’m Not sure about the 4 week cycle at this point Peter to be honest, if the deal is completed all stakeholders will want paying, they won’t necessarily be ruled by certain timescale.

However I do believe a deadline will have been set for offers to be made, and completion timescale so everyone has a date to aim for.

Also EUA haven’t been trying to sell themselves. They were approached 12 months ago and have always been in the driving seat in my view.
