Well the New bod have only just started Monday and all the figures are published by Aminex base on the Zubair investment of $105 million in Ruvuma to move it to production.

Caddy, Kejoglo is not helping the long termers here or any other shareholder, so I question their motives 100% see my 1,2,3 posts.

I could not imagine being locked into a share for 8 years, but the new team coupled with the good proven assets, namely Ruvuma and Horse Hill to date, provide an oportunity for the Very long termers to get some, all or maybe even more than their money back.

Ruvuma is planned to provide at least $12 million a year in revenue from solo's 25% holding by 2020 moving to $35 to $40 by 2022 that would value the company on this alone above the 20p target (1P old money) that people have been posting about.

Horse Hill is expected to be in production next year - the Portland at least, we will know about the Kim later this year.

It all depends on the new BOD managing and delivering the business model, either through a sale of assets or production from Horse Hill and Ruvuma.

Good that the new BOD have all agreed to take their full entitlement in the open offer though gav, adding more skin to the game along with the fact they are taking shares in payment shows confidence from the new team.

Willow, you can't compare a gas compartment @ KN-1 with the Ruvuma fan basin. I agree well depletion is unknown until a production profile is known (as in producing for sometime) but the current FFD IO report details a total of 8 wells and production till 2049 I believe.

It's the engine in the car thats the real value and you even agree, the engine representing the 0.5 Trillion of gas in Ruvuma and of course the Portland @ Horse Hill, which is looking very commercial at recently tested flow rates, never mind the Kim to come, I will park the Helium-1 till we know more.

Jury is still out on that one for me till we see the momentum and pace from the Zubair corp.

I am not sure it is just the TPDC Jetty, I suspect that the Zubairs are very much in control of the forward plan in alignment with the TPDC. The Omani's keep sending delegations over to meet the president to "discuss business."

Bad news on the drill if true, although I am not convinced that it will not be spud in December myself, it will be done when the Zubairs want to and in line with the demand forecast.

Good news on the 40 million scuffs being a minimum and that agrees nicely with the gas demand profile from Leaf :)

Solo has announced this morning that it has raised £2.41m through a firm and conditional placing at 2.25p, a 5% discount. In addition the company may raise a further £1.2m as it has announced an Open Offer for shareholders at the same price on a 1:9 basis. The company say that they need the capital to ‘safeguard our equity positions and negotiate the best deals for shareholders’. They also accept that ‘whilst the raising of that capital is dilutive at the existing shareholder level, it is a necessary function to protect and enhance the inherent value within the portfolio’.
Given the fact that they have put in place an Open Offer for shareholders, combined with the fact that the new board, with decent skin in the game are clearly not hanging around I see no reason why holders should not take up their offer, as I understand it the placings were substantially oversubscribed. Furthermore it is clear that things are going on at Solo, with a new, dynamic leadership and a topped up balance sheet it seems to me that transactions are definitely in the wind. Solo is most definitely growing up, nothing is off the table and at long last this company may start to deliver, it’s payback time and I suspect the ride will be fun, one for the pocket book, as they say…

BG, they said in their RNS statement that the loan would be to fund to the 40 million scuffs production, so at least $15 million.

"Solo is in early stage discussions with a major bank on the provision of project financing for the development of the Ntorya field from completion of the planned Chikumbi-1 appraisal well until the development reaches at least 40 million standard feet per day ("mmscfd"). Solo holds a 25% interest in Ruvuma, including the Ntorya discovery."
