The point anyway of the article, before you hijacked it for your favourite subject ;) was that Total have found up to 1TCF of gas in Shetland, the biggest find for a decade. Ruvuma is 5 TCF and that was the point of my comparison.

Tarry it's 148 billion not million and Pouyanne was also granted €2.8 million in shares along with his £3.3 Million salary and he received a 25% salary increase.

Regardless, as I have said before JB should defer his increase till Ruvuma is in production imo.

Probably because there is only one buyer in the market Joe, UKOG and they don't have spare cash beyond their current EWT and 2nd drill, even for todays transaction @ £4.5 million, hence the share deal imo. Also this way solo have a liquid asset ready for the C-1 drill cash call and enough to cover it in full, so no delay to the Ruvuma development, the main asset.

Lets see when they flip and how much for.

That would be just the ticket Trade ;) I think the name change to something that reflects the new Management team and their ambitions would be most welcome, it is not about being solo, it is about partnering and investing in businesses that offer a significant ROI and monetisation.

Just one problem and reality check with those calculations. The market cap does not represent the open market value of the asset and in the case of solo, UKOG more than doubled in price since June whilst Solo's did not budge an inch, so showed 0 value or upside.

The whole point for solo was to create a liquid asset through the deal by benefiting from UKOG liquidity.

3 days is the rule willow but either way, providing they make an additional profit on the £4.5 million you can only leave it to them to make the right call at the right time. Profit is profit and cash is king, at least solo can convert anytime.

Frank, they have not confirmed that they have sold any of the UKOG shares only that the deal has been signed and completed. The Kim is a risk but IF it does come in with commercial flow rates then I would agree a game changer, question is will it maintain a comercial flow rate for an extended time? SOLO's technical team are in a very good place to understand that and I am sure will make the right choice to sell or not along the way.

today confirms the completion of the sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") to dispose of its entire 15% interest in Horse Hill Developments Limited ("HHDL") to UK Oil and Gas plc

With an effective date of 28 August 2018, the total consideration will be satisfied through the issue of 234,042,221 new ordinary shares in UKOG ("Consideration Shares"). The Consideration Shares are due to be admitted to trading on AIM by 28 September 2018.

Depends on the risk/reward willow. No idea it they are selling but if they did flip them and make an additional £ half a million on the 45% already made, thats good profit for a few weeks.

Regardless the main asset is Ruvuma and the Aminex/Omani Farm out deal is due to conclude Q4 and the C-1 drill will not be far behind, targeting thicker sands and that Oil target.
