About time we see some delivery from the BOD, all the experience, all the credentials and some cracking upside potential assets as well as large drilled and appraised assets.

Soon see won't we Mick, nothing happening till the CH-1 spud and drill results in terms of FFD, but then the next drill is a very interesting one @AEX it being a dual Geological appraisal with a deeper target of up to a TCF of gas or Oil, like 2 drills in one in fact.
Market likes a drill, never mind a double.

I guess it's up to the Zubairs to decide if the previous operator AEX had the dual target drill correctly lined up. In saying that the Zubairs were part of the Board of directors when the drill pad was built and the dual Geological targets announced.

Need spud date and a drill first Thordon as per the terms of the licence.

Under the terms of the extension the Company, through the Ruvuma PSA Joint Venture, is committed to perform the following works during the extension period:



· Acquire 200 square kilometres (surface coverage) of 3D seismic (min. expenditure of US$7 million)

· Drill the Chikumbi-1 exploration well (min. expenditure of US$15 million)

· Complete the negotiation of the Gas Terms for the Ruvuma PSA with the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation

· Using the data gathered from Chikumbi-1 and the seismic acquisition, prepare and submit an application for a Development Licence for the Ntorya Location area.

Makes you wonder does it not how the previous application by AEX came to nothing, no announcement that it was rejected or required modification, well not until Monday the 27th April RNS 2020 that is.

lol, could be Bucks, all depends on how quickly this export pipeline gets built by total and of course the gas export.

Well the board have been handed the golden fleece with the AEX/Zubair farmout now completed. What they now do with it sets the future for all shareholders here as does any price for securing a deal.

As always my take is to drill C1 and 3D (Total cost to SCIR £5.1 mill, about the same as the available loan facility)and then wait for the 25 year development licence. Why? because the asset sale price will be worth about 10 times more at least and will exceed NR's $100 million.

Helium - One Global, we need to see this IPO/RTO complete on favourable terms for SCIR, I expect the money invested on this asset by NR to give a poor return until post drilling.

The numbers they quoted appear completely unattainable in the time frame. To put it into perspective, Ruvuma with all 8 wells producing is expected to produce 25,000 boepd Gross to the JV. How SCIR expect to achieve 20,000 BOEPD within the next few years is beyond me.

The bottom line is that the market likes a drill and AEX are carried for up to 6 drills, WEN have no activity on the Horizon whilst AEX shareholders are expecting a spud date soon.

Sentiment plays a very large part in the market dynamics of small caps the next spud here looks like an exciting drill across two Geological layers & targets, almost like 2 drills in one but half the price ;)

Hi HY, I might still hold some free carry shares when AEX are producing but my main divi return investments are all main market in Europe and the US and not in Oil and Gas.

I think the next AEX 6 to 8 drills that are highlighted in the development plans will each provide significant short term upside, depending on how long any delays are between spud #1 and a 25 year development licence being issued. As you say, in Tanzania this can sometimes lead to years of inactivity.

The Uganda and Kenya gas export pipeline I think is the key to any meaningful future volumes in Tanzania before off shore LNG comes on line. If this is the case then there is also no reason why WEN would not also be included in providing export gas as well if the 1BCF demand per day that the TPDC forecast is to be believed.

Hi Steve, I don't see SCIR RTO'ing Helium One, more likely Helium one RTO into another shell along with the IPO, plenty of shells around right now.

Afternoon steve. The projected recover rate would provide revenues in excess of $13 billion gross if my memory serves correct. Of course they are a long way from production.

A spud date for Ruvuma or sale + Helium one IPO/RTO would be good for us shareholders.
