More noise, the one thing the BOD are good and proven at is raising money from the markets for O&G, check out the # of aim companies that have benefited from Gneiss arranged funding.

Least of my worries, price for Ruvuma is all important, the rest is noise imo.

Anyone with even an ounce of research knows what the assets are worth V cap. 2 recent events give you a simple read across for base value.

Since SCIR own 25% of Ruvuma + 4.5% of Helium-1 then they should have been mentioned as well. Seems a bit misleading the AEX text since they said drill 2022

Aminex (LON:AEX)

After its wheels were left spinning until the Tanzania farm-out deal closed in October the company’s gas project is now set to kick into gear.

APT, the new operator of the Ruvuma asset, will lead an active campaign through 2021 with the aim of making the project ‘development ready’ by 2022.

Drilling the Chikumbi-1 appraisal and exploration well will be a highlight and key catalyst in 2021. The well is planned to start by the second quarter and run into the third.

Helium One (LON:HE1)

It’s a unique take on exploration – and not an energy play – but the playbook for 2021 should be familiar to oil and gas investors.

The company is advancing the Rukwa helium project which is believed to host enough gas to satisfy global demand for at least a decade. Like oil or natural gas exploration, the method is to identify prospects in seismic and test them with the drill bit.

Rukwa has 21 prospects and 4 leads comprising an estimated 138bn cubic feet of helium. A programme of three wells is due to kick off in the first half of 2021.

Good point, OIP is a very different number from recoverable in the naturally fractured rock however and a lack of an up to date CPR does speak volumes.

A lot of noise imo holy, all comes down to what they do with Ruvuma, like mr c/d pointed out, its all been small change up to now ref UKOG @ £3.5 million. Ruvuma is a very large and serious asset drilled and appraised and funded by Omanis to the tune of $107 million over just one geological layer, the next drill targets the additional Jurassic as well as the already appraised cretaceous.

Keep focused on the primary objective in the portfolio imo and the value V cap, in the mean time dish the BOD all you like, can't blame you, delivery to date has been appalling.

Fully agree, seems like they could be stalling for resolution of SCIRS 25% or maybe just the next licence extension?

I claim no experience beyond simple research mrc/d. Gneiss and thus a good part of the bod are well known for arranging finance for AIM O&G companies along with M&A mediation & arranging deals between O&G companies such as Farm ins. It makes it all the more surprising that they have failed to deliver on their own flag ship in SCIR thus far and as I have posted countless times the jury is still well and truly out imo.

I like the assets but am still unsure about the BOD, on paper they look great but it's all about delivery.

But yes in answer, to your question, the exit of UKOG @2p was a good deal when you consider the 0.125p price it is today. Shame most of that money was spent on their wages during the 2 year TZ gov delays along with that spunked on the failed 1D deal.

All about Ruvuma and the BOD being able to use their vast knowledge of the M&A world to deliver a deal that will be good for shareholders. The other option is cash in HE1 post drill and fund Ruvuma for 2022, 21 being about funded already.

I think we are just saying the same thing Thordon, decline in demand = decline in production. The export pipeline to Uganda and Kenya required for demand to soar.

Equinor in Tanzania January removed, a given that it was nothing to do with SCIR but true regardless yet unfproven accusations remain.

Flow rates, hydrocarbon composition and a CPR required before any true valuations can be made, speculation time in the meantime.

Truth is though that 2018 production average was 83 MMscf/d this years guideance is 70 MMscf/d a decline.

Nice research johny, thanks for sharing. Helium is on a cliff edge of supply V demand. If HE1 prove commercial flows from drilled traps I have no educated guess on where the SP could land.
