In my football scenario it costs me nothing , this at the moment is costing me thousands and thousands , with no sign of a reverse in fortunes. If the football team you were supporting were constantly underperforming would anyone be happy , or would they be moaning and saying how carp they are? I see this as the same situation , underperforming so we have every right to moan and be negative.

Thanks rcgl2. So at the expense of sounding thick , when I press sell one any given stock , if there is nobody pressing the buy button at the same time where does my stock go that I've just sold? This is especially apt on very low volume stocks like data for example. The stock always gets taken up , but for that particular stock there were 45 trades today , so not exactly a queue of buyers.

This every seller has a buyer? Correct me if I'm wrong , but doesn't the market maker "buy" the stock? Isn't that their job , to make the market work? If they didn't buy the stock and keep it on their own book , there would be no market.

So we have £8000 between buys and sells according to LSE and they whack it down 5.51%. Could you ever imagine it going up 5.51% if the numbers were reversed? This AIM market will one day get its comeuppance.

TYpical AIM , . Unless they are working a big sell , yet to be reported, I'd say MM's taking the proverbial p*ss as per usual. Very quick to drop it , never rises so quick.
