It's just a waiting game guys , the darkest hour is before the dawn. Yes we are all p*ssed off at the underperformance , but that is no reason to throw the towel in , including you Bubbles.
I for one and sticking with it , I suspect it will at least get to 55p , am prepared to wait another 12 months if needs be.

Totally agree Rich08 , it's just a waiting game , patience will be rewarded. It may not come in Feb , now's the time to be building a healthy position. 12 - 18months maybe , with some green shoots in between.

PS, well impressed with the guy who had the 20 bagger and a few 10's , best I ever did was one ten , never been near it since , a two is the best i've done since 97 , and I didn't even cash that one in , watched it slither away! I must be the worst investor in modern day times , but I have learnt to buy and hold in the last 10 years , I think I have a portfolio that will serve me well with patience.

Stukey I said on here many years that I thought this would go the same way as Amerisur. I also thought 55p would be tops. Hope i'm wrong , but a similar pattern is emerging imo.

I don't say much here as you guys have it all covered , but what I would say in this situation is BHP are best kept in the dark here. No matter how pee'd off we are , it would make more sense to vote the current lot back in , however much individuals don't like to , and force BHP to acquire SOLG's assets with a bonfire offer , and not dilution which would obviously be the case should they get their wish. Like someone said earlier , they have all the time in the world , this could be a 200 years investment for them , for us it's just for as long as we are alive , and i'd like to see a return on my outlay , it would be nice to look myself in the mirror in the knowledge i got one correct at least.
