George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
My theory is that a ton shares will be issued at around 9p, which is the average for the past few months.
Some of it was me, had £60k at 15p, reduced it to £15k. I'll buy more IF it drops below 10 though!
Same here, couldn't resist but to add another 110k on Friday. The news was just too significant to ignore a)company expanded to Asia b) customers have full confidence in the company c)with this strong order book even if there wasn’t a buyer banks won’t have any issues lending more if required. Let’s not forget that it only dropped below 12 because a major share holder sold, bet they’re kicking themselves now. All we need now is just a rumour of a potential buyer and it’ll hit 76 at a blip, but as we know shares rise and drop well above and below expiations on large market volumes so above 100 is also achievable short term. Especially given the current market condition opportunities like this are rare, I’m not making the mistake of selling this too soon even if it rises to above 30% of my overall portfolio. DYOR
For some reason this reminds me of Hurricane energy. I started buying Hurricane energy around 3p, dropped to 0.6 when they announced they will give 95% of the company to the bondholders. It’s my largest position at the time and I took a big hit selling at around 1.2, but only because they also said that their oil production was dropping significantly. Long behold it went up to 11.7 when their major share holder challenged giving the company away to bond holders, granted high oil prices helped too.
Now back to Tekmar, they’re in a far better position as they have cash, still growing and expanding their operation globally, oil and electricity prices are at all time high, looking for a buyer with more cash to make the most of the current trading opportunities (not to survive!). I lost a lot of sleep buying on the way down and have already broken even. Initially thought that 24 – 28 will be a good price to sell but honestly now think that it’ll hit 76 easy on some interest to buy the company and I tell you what many will be interested as it’s a no brainer!

Hard to predict anything in this market but this share at current prices is more of a sure thing compared to any of the other 500+ shares that I'm monitoring. So much so that I broke my max 10% rule and got around 15% in this one share. Didn’t expect it to drop below 12, was very painful to watch it drop to 6. If it closes above 11 today then next week is profit week :)
yeah, it'll hit 12 easy today, next week 24 I hope! Bought just under 0.5 million shares on the way down across my 3 accounts, hoping that this would make up for some of my losses lately. Keeping my figers crossed.
Anyone knows the out of the Italian Tribunal?
I can buy and sell now, panic over! Probably an operator error.
IG is telling me call to close, but can't see anything anywhere about delisting! Anyone knows anything?
On the off chance , anyone ended up with this share still in their ISA after it got de-listed? I'm with Barclays, not sure what to do with it!
Petra Diamond was is a similar position, dropped from 2 to 1. Started to hover around 1.5 after a few weeks later, some days reaching 2. It's not the position that I wanted to be in, but I'll hold my Hurricane shares. Might drop a bit more, but think it'll bounce to 1.5 and maybe even 2 on a good day, in a few weeks or months. Sold similar shares a few times in the past with big losses, only for the share to bounce back and I ended up kicking myself. Whether you buy or sell you'll remain emotionally involved and wouldn't be able to stop checking the share price, so do what makes sense to you personally. P.S. generally speaking I'm not too bad at this and make more money than I loose, well so far anyway!
Are normal share holders going to get any of the shares issued or that I'm wasting my time waiting?!
It's the game we're in mate, if we didn't loose from time to time then it'd get in our heads. Had £18 in this, sold all at 5p today with a huge loss.
Only if we had a crystal ball
I tripled my position at 8.1, have a good feeling about this, looking back it advances over a few days!
30% in, will buy some more if it gets past 14!
Unfortunately this might be it for today, should have bounced off the resistance but dropped under it :(
Sorry for taking anyone’s time, not being lazy, well guess I am! In my defence, on average I have around 40 shares in my portfolio, and monitor around 250 daily. Only a few are as volatile, hard to keep on top of these!
Vorag, thanks, I thought JB was out though? Didn't he sell his 1% a day?
I'm waiting for tomorrow before I decide when to get in, but could someone please provide a quick summary of why they think this share is fluctuating so much please?
