But all things considered, I'd say this would make a good top up point if things go south. I'd leave it a day or two though.

From the perspective of TEK, you're right to focus on GDNT and SALT as those are the only real games in town here; LUCY and GNIP are just pocket money. And while we can all argue about the potential gains with estimates ranging from small to astronomical, my point about cash-generation was about profits; firstly in the companies themselves, and secondly for TEK. If we start to see even some guidance for the likelihood or timing of profitability then there is a case to be made for the "recycling" of funds into new ventures and that small piece of the "grand strategy" cited by Wozzer would start to materialise.

Of course new investments is a separate piece on which there has been no news for at least two years. But at least here there would be money to spend.

I'm simply calling out the factual inaccuracies. By all means help him to explain why GDNT is the magic key to reduce the NAV discount or justify the claim that the investee companies are cash-generating.

Using a very simple option pricing tool, I'm getting a value of around 0.1p - Volatility 30%, Interest 3.7%.

As to the threshold for exercise, surely that's a share price rise of around 75% (1.4p rising to 2.4p). The market cap approach should take into account the cash raised from the offer/placing.

Rights issues are expensive and this looks like a contingent short-term funding arrangement rather than needing long term capital and having everyone complaining about dilution. Better too to have the funding to continue the work they have; the funding will take a small slice of the margin but there's be plenty left for us.

I'm convinced he's paid for by the company with the sheer volume of repetitive posts about how the NAV discount will magically disappear after the GDNT IPO. He claims this is usually the case when all companies but this is a fabrication unless he cares to cite a few examples. Moreover, in TEK's case this ignores the large shareholding it would retain in SALT and GDNT which for obvious reasons would not be readily realisable for cash.

Though he ought to know a little more about the investee companies instead of labelling them as cash-generating. Cliff and the Board have obviously made cash and Cliff even remarked on one interview over a year ago that it was the best performing VCT company - rather tellingly confusing the different optics of the shareholder and CEO.

I think 1664 was meant as a bit of a joke.

I think this is one of those where you're best waiting a couple of days before buying back. Not a terrible price here mind, just there should be better ones later.

What does that mean? No-one buying or selling at that price?

Why the rise yesterday?

He'll be singing the same story long after the iceberg has hit and everyone else is in the lifeboats. For someone who claims that others haven't researched the companies, he shows virtually no knowledge of them himself.

Someone is going to have to explain to me what argument this is trying to make. Is it a bit like saying "If wozzer's posts are just a confused mess of metaphors, suppositions and fan fiction, nobody would need to spend any time trying to discredit them"? Because I think we do need to do that.

As for TEK being worthless, there is a possibility that it may be for PIs; not very likely though IMO

This still has plenty of legs in it. Yesterday was just a pause to give the market a bit of time to digest the higher prices so just a little patience and we'll be on our way again shortly. It's not an ideal place to be taking money of the table just yet - for that we're probably talking £4 if we are being conservative.

That's not to say you shouldn't take a slice of profits on the way up; that's simply good risk management. And you might also create a little more space to add back on an extended dips. But the dips are temporary here, general direction of travel here remains up.

To get to £7 you'll need the same sort of buying frenzy we saw last week and I don't see any catalyst for that. I'll be more than happy if it can poke it's nose above 500p in March.

It's all a bit stop-start but, if my figures are correct, they have no completed 35% of the planned buyback and bought back 0.67% of the total shares.

I filtered him/her ages ago. No useful commentary, just a succession of self-obsessed posts which you'd all be advised to save a few seconds of your busy lives applying the filter button.

RPI shot up nearly 100% because it briefly became a meme stock but it topped at around 540p before closing the week at 380p. While I can't disagree that directors should be showing some confidence by buying the shares, it won't have anything like that sort of effect.

Just one more thing, RPI is down 43% over the past 12 months.

I hold around 8% of my share portfolio in LGEN but never really thought what I might consider too much. I don't think I would be very happy with 20%+ but not sure about 15%.

That said, for me to add, the price has to fall so there's a sort of balance at play.
