My view on the end of June situation is that, if there was anything really positive going on, the heavy buying would have already started, as there are always leaks.

Well Paul, how about a statement from the CEO on the 9the December 2024 stating that they were on course for 1000oz a month from January 2025, but the actual production declared so far to date, after an amateurish tweet a few days ago, being 1670 oz. So under 28% of what we were led to believe was imminent. And you think that generates enough cash to operate. I’m sure you’ll be proved wrong on that very soon.

So if I hear another “In the coming months..” nonsense from the company, I’m going to find the board of directors and their gold bars, and try and fit them somewhere they shouldn’t go!

Bill Trew is a shareholder. Nothing more. He’s not on site. He takes his fat backside between his home in Sunninghill and his villa in Portugal. He is known for being the tightest man ever to walk this earth and has no friends. He’s persona non grata at GRL as far as the board are concerned. How do I know? I just do. He got kicked off the board and Paracale got removed from operations. The company wouldn’t even be in the sorry state it is now if he’d have been heavily involved. It would have been private and Billy boy rubbing his chubby hands together.

Chris, keep that positivity going chief. You’ll be saying the same thing when they’re kicking the can down the road yet again this time next year. But you’re right, it is indeed a going concern. It’s still going for the benefit of the board and not for the benefit of the shareholders. Lord knows how much gold is really being produced and where it’s going. The smoke and mirrors was yet again displayed by the amateurish tweet which provided no context, and I note they set the tweet not to allow comments.

I noticed people sometimes say that posters like Kenny are trying to affect the share price with their posts on here. Nonsense. Nothing anyone posts on here changes the SP one iota. The only thing that affects the SP is the info GRL themselves put out. They know it and they control it. Just look at that latest ridiculous tweet.

If you’ve got money in here, I can totally understand the excuses you’d come up with for the current situation. Rather than to see it for what it is, it’s a more comforting route to come up with, and justify in your own mind, reasons why it’s not going well. It’s much more comforting to hang on to the belief that you haven’t lost most of your investment.

Having followed the story for many years, and having a decent chunk in here myself, at some point you’ve got to let go. I’m assuming all my money has gone. I hope not, but the reality is that it probably has. For some, the penny has finally dropped, for others, I see them posting with the same desperate hope we’ve all done over the years. This is a dog, run by rogues. I suspect strongly they are having it away big time at our expense, and see no evidence to the contrary. They’d have given it up by now if they weren’t. When you have a CEO clearly stating in December (9th to be precise before anyone disputes it with me again) that they are on course for 1000oz production from January, but by 10th June have only declared a total of 1670oz, then the problem is there for all to see. It’s way more than coincidence that statements made in RNS’s subsequently don’t materialise time after time. It’s lies and subterfuge, not unfortunate grade circumstances, bad weather, pit 1,2, or 122 not doing its stuff, Brexit, the price of fish, or whatever the latest nonsense excuse is.

Sonofaboo has this about right. AIM goldmine punts are not like investing elsewhere. People on here who sometimes talk as if the information the company gives out is gospel, may be in for a big shock. There are so many variables that can screw up what looks on paper to be a solid looking company. Not least, whether the directors are playing it straight.

Gold mining, almost by definition, attracts certain types of characters. Throw in the Ghana factor, and linked interests owned by indeterminate people in indeterminate places, and you’ve got the wildest punt around.

When dodgy Bill (and he is) got ousted, I had high hopes that Emma might get it back on course, despite being CEO when the blatant lies of the past were put out. I was hoping she was just Bill’s puppet. But after the statement as late as December about 1000oz a month coming from January, and here we are almost in June with only tiny amounts of gold declared, I’m now concerned she’s as dirty as he is. The share price is where they want it to be for now, for whatever reason. There’s gold there for sure, or they wouldn’t still be fannying around out there, but where it is, and whether it will ever translate into top/bottom line, or whether they crash the company and steal it from us, is anyone’s guess. If you don’t think this type of shenanigans goes on, you’re deluded. AIM history is littered with it. So this is a classic casino style fun punt which you should put in only what you can afford to lose. My optimism is waning, partly due to the fact that their family and all their mates would be piling in if good news was very close. Yet no one is.

Shareholders thinking: “Well, now Emma has clearly stated, on 9th DECEMBER: “Our ramp up at Homase continues at pace, and we remain on track to achieve our stated objective of producing 1000oz a month from JANUARY” then, at last, we’re finally getting there, and there’s no way GRL can backtrack on this in the way they have done with ALL the other broken promises and falsehoods of previous years.”

I always admire your optimism and faith. I do try and stay a bit tongue in cheek about it all of course. I just prefer under-promising and over-delivering rather than the other way round. The next update may be telling, or not. They are great at kicking the can down the road time after time.

So not like your multiple posts every day, paragraph after paragraph, talking as if you know something when you clearly don’t. Not like that then?
