Production costs reduced to $1500 a month??

The problem we have, dear GoldGeezer, is that we’ve all been thinking we are on the verge of huge gains for knocking on 15 years now! In that time, Emma and the board have happily presided over statements proclaiming X,000 a month of gold will be produced, whilst knowing full well that they were nowhere near able to produce those figures. Clearly everyone is still skeptical, and not really buying into yet more statements of great riches “soon”. Many questions remain. Are they using the funding to build it out at other’s expense, then are going to nick the company for a song? That sort of thing. Personally, a few pictures of largely empty fields, and a few rusty bits of machinery are not going to make me reach for the chequebook again, despite the attraction of averaging down. I do, of course, hope my cynicism is misplaced, and that this time, finally, the statements turn out to be true!

Thank god I saw Bolducus indemnifier saying “DO NOT BUY ON MY 13p STATEMENT” just in time. I was just about to buy another £10k’s worth based on some guy on a forum guessing about the price. Phew!

Again the price drop doesn’t seem representative of the buys and sells.

If it kicks on when there’s a decent production update, it’s just a shame any upward movement is starting from 1p. I remember when I was annoyed the price dropped to 8p. Now that’s a pipe dream! Gold mines in Ghana, eh?

Recent £100k buys v £5k sells in a day and the price doesn’t budge. Yet £4.5k sells today and we’re down another 2%.

Jack, that’s a very valid point re buys showing as sells, and vice versa, but having a day off yesterday, I looked at the actual buy/sell prices achievable frequently as the day went on, and ascertained that most, if not all, were accurate.

Regarding where the MM’s have it, it’s also a fair point, but this has always been very low liquidity, which is why it always moved so much on a few trades, so did they just magic 8m shares from the top drawer? Where have they come from if no one sold?

About 8 million shares bought yesterday for nearly £100k with virtually no sells, yet the price hardly budged an inch by the end of the day. Why would that be? In recent times it only had to have a couple of grand of sales and it would drop a whole penny.

@antibacterial Goldstone shares were tipped in the Mail yesterday. I imagine it’s as a result of that. Bit disappointed it’s not spiked higher.

You’re behind the curve Botulism, Whywaste..and all your other Lowestoft Weatherspoons aliases. The website hasn’t been amended. Paracale were unceremoniously kicked off site and are no longer involved in operations. You can probably guess why. BT is just a shareholder these days. Nothing more.

Bill Trew is a shareholder - that’s all. Now he’s off the board, and Paracale aren’t being used for the mining operation itself, he has as much involvement as you or I.

Think everyone is waiting for the next big announcement! Hopefully in a Simon Cowell style “We haven’t produced 1000oz a month…we’ve produced 2000oz a month”

This last week saw the most positivity around the company for some long time! Updates and PR are great, but what will really move the share price, and keep it up there, are actual production figures! I so hope the 1000oz a month wasn’t just rhetoric to try and get further investment. Cautiously optimistic.

So if they actually can turn out 1000oz a month, and they seem pretty sure they now can, the share price is still massively under where it should be. 10p on confirmation of production and onwards from there. As I think someone else said, market capitalisation of well under £10m on £20m turnover is crazy.
