This is from the guy called Trader, who posts on the ‘other’ forum. Make of it what you will. What I will say is that he also posts calculations based on the company’s own RNS’s (he states dates and times) which no one has been able to dispute, because they are there for all to see. We all want this share to rise, but do we really have a chance with a Gold mine in the Wild West that is Ghana, and with the people involved? Are we all being taken for mugs. Personally, I think so, but I’d be hugely happy to be proved wrong. Quote from Trader below..
“Skimming gold is infinitely more profitable than declaring it to shareholders, especially when no one’s watching.
If I were operating a gold mine producing 20,000 ounces a year in a remote corner of Africa, listed on a barely regulated backwater like AIM, I wouldn’t be shouting about record production either.
I’d tell investors I’m struggling, declare a few thousand ounces, report losses, and quietly move the rest off-book. No helicopters, no inspectors, no questions, just bullion vanishing into the bush while shareholders wonder why the stock’s worth pennies.
Wouldn’t most of us do the same? Just hope nobody notices, if we get caught we’ll only get a slap on the wrist, so it’s definitely better to keep the gold for ourselves.”
