Hope he doesn't mind me posting it here.
"My personal off-the-cuff opinion is that this does not affect the volumetrics or the probabilities that I have done my calculations & HUR valuations on so far. That is because Warwick Deep is simply not in the volumetrics I used, and the well is being 100% paid for by Spirit. I have some further thoughts but have a day job to do right now."
Thank God Spirit Energy picked up the bill for this drill, and for the next two.
Is it of any importance that at least some oil was detected outside structural closure?
Yh. And SotB wrote that Warwick is an oil field not a kitchen floor. I'm guessing there *may* be commercial oil in other parts of Warwick.
Am I right that Warwick was valued at 3p in the risked NAV of Hurricane?
Really? Very much doubt it
Well, if anything has been leaked to you, daltry, make sure you give us the heads up
This in the RNS matters:
"Lancaster EPS production operations remain in-line with guidance."
You never know. Not long until we find out!
Not the worst thing to happen. Our resource base stays undiminished. And it's still a VERY large resource base.
Also, it's interesting that the company will still go on and drill Warwick Shallow.
Heard something about Lancaster, daltry?
Those things are usually planned months in advance, JP
Thinking about SotB's claim again, is he essentially saying what Wellwell is saying, that there's oil elsewhere in Warwick but not where we drilled?
Interesting, wellwell. That puts you at loggerheads with SotB ["Warwick is an oil field not a kitchen floor"] and Moonlanding, as well as adoubleuk. Reputations at stake!
So there's oil but we don't know if can be made to flow at all, let alone at commercial rates? As you say, dspp, we need more information before writing Warwick off. It may be that they believe it can be made to flow and intend to prove that that's the case with the final drill of the campaign.
Thanks, guys
What is a flash test?
I'm finding it more responsive, LONGWAIT.
They've freshened it up. Perfectly acceptable, imo.
My experience here over the years is that radio silence and share price performance don't indicate something is wrong.
I know nothing about drilling, adoubleuk, but I can tell you that Yuyus referenced Flash Gordon the day before yesterday in one of his (ever welcome) cryptic posts.
I didn't refer to you as a 'pal' in that post, did I? This ain't hard, wo/man
Wasn't talking to you, pal. Learn to follow threads.
