Just received confirmation that yesterdays candlestick wasn't long enough. so looks like it may not be a morning star.

Providing this doesn't rise much more today then it will have set up with a morning star on the daily. This is supposed to be a very strong reversal signal. I have never seen one yet but often read about them.

Breaking News - China Central Bank expects Econ Growth of 6.8% in 2016 - Commodities / Miners will react on this ________________________________________ China's annual economic growth is likely to slow to 6.8 percent in 2016 from an expected 6.9 percent this year, the People's Bank of China said in a working paper published on Wednesday. China's consumer price index is likely to climb 1.7 percent in 2016 from this year, while its producer price index is forecast to fall 1.8 percent year-on-year, the central bank said in the research report. The central bank expects China's fixed-asset investment to grow 10.8 percent in 2016 from this year and forecasts retail sales to rise 11.1 percent on-year. China's exports are expected to rise an annual 3.1 percent in 2016 while imports are expected to grow 2.3 percent, the PBOC said in its projections.

I gave up work about 2months ago to day trade FTSE from home. I still wake up around 5am-7am, got no traffic jams, can walk the dogs when I want, play golf when im out of cfd positions, Although I admit there was something great about all the hustle & bustle of London (tubes etc.)

Morning, yesterday I did a few LONG & then SHORTS on FTSE, Anyway, I just done my usual Sat morning FTSE homework looking at the longer term picture (weekly) where I see an inverted head n shoulders formation has set up....(not good news) This could be terrible which will really exaggerate the AAL falls, not that we needed any more encouragement. I thought about salvaging my last remaining 30%-40% left in AAL about two weeks ago, did nothing about it, but I think the time is coming to take it on the chin. This is not a de-ramp as im losing a fortune with AAL. Where's this fecking santa rally....lol

Thanks About a month ago i was searching for BDI on my IG platform but it never came up. Have you a link that shows this as Japanese candlesticks, then I be able get a much better idea of how much worse the sector is going to get, or are we anywhere near the bottom..

Anyway Long & Short of it this is a pig of a share, as long as it doesn't go bust then im not losing sleep.

I must give you both credit for calling £3.50 when this share was around £8. I for one couldn't see that sort of drop. Do you think 350 would form a base or could we drop as low as £2 Im crapping myself....lol

Now after nearly a 4% drop this morning.

Cheers. Believe it or not I was just having a bad weekend & decided it was good to talk....lol I soon realized im not the only one in the S ** T. This c r a a p has already happened, there's nothing I can do about it, I decided to hold, im not going to sell at a huge loss at mo. Obviously it be very disappointing to watch it fall further.

I hope so, there are one or two on here who know what they're talking about, they see 350 - 375.

I learnt a massive lesson here, Im feeling so aggressive that the next couple of buys will either make me or break me. Im playing with the BIG boys now, so time to rise to the challenge.

I admit im losing over 30K with this share which is allot of dosh for me. its all I think about now so time for me to try a new angle of attack.

Yes I agree, I see this rising short term but as you say only to catch people out. Its pure game play imo. Im debating whether to sell on out Tuesday taking a huge loss & then buy into building sector BWY now 2,544, This mining sector is finished for a good while yet, only a 10-20% bounce near term will now keep me interested in AAL. Very browned off at mo.

This was up +4% earlier this morning & now down on the day. Hope you didn't let your LONG ride for the day.....keep trading this in & out for a quick buck as its a very dangerous share to take your eye off.

I mentioned that when the US dollar basket was 9,966 it looked set to keep on rising, well its now 10,000 & it sure doesn't look like stopping. Mining now 8,259 only looks in a safe place up to the 2hrs, so we need to keep going otherwise it will reverse very quickly....hope not.
