sorry, just got back-wasnt me again lol, so many stocks to pick, her 2.5mill was a duff buy that put the sp back down somewhat-wicked news.my thoughts before i go large on sft is the general trades, off radar etc, not a busy stock? if people dont buy or sft just trickles, she wont move to where she should be for a bit unless revalued completely and even then the mms etc dont always push the stock hard if they cant get buyers? Your thoughts?

on the flip side, might be sensible if they preannounce any potential divi, to wait for announcement and also see what develops during interims in september as they possibly will have resolved all the other bits they were addressing in report (minor-but getting best value on everything and counting pennies frugally) imo

was always in this for medium to long, was hoping the sp would would be nearer 25-50p year end, unlikely i know as crap pr, but an excellent company all the same,have a look at their redevolped website, they dont just mine it, largest employer in sierra leone, and give a damn about their people over 1000 who work for them, bear in mind one of the poorest nations on earth, post war etc. they even have a hospital for the people and put back in.its not all about profits, yet they still work hard to satisfy us shareholders and boy have they turned the company around past 2 years. new investors may see some return quicker than envisaged me thinks if and if a divi happens. (imo) :-)

there was a run on niger uranium when pis realised a divi was forthcoming-jeepers should have seen the buys (URU), different type of co and diff strategies of course-point is people kept asking what the qualifying date was as lots of pis were piling in, seems pointless saying oh yeh-as long as you got shares held on say 30th june well give x divi on 30th july-telling us that, say next week, like its a near free handout-remind me how it should work, with timescales please brooksy?

thanks-will try and find where le barronski is. persoanlly i would be happy if they passed back half for divi and reinvested wisely the other half as prev posted. hopefully hear from them soon, and before interims in september. maybe the thought and probability/possibility alone, will create a buying spree and wake people up- easy money and the sp is well off where she should be too.(imo)

by saying --using the fundSSSS received, more in the pot than we envisaged? after the rights last year and us old timers that stuck it out-INVESTORS in TXR!!! we damn well deserve some reward by way of special divi, the percentage is the debatable point - not if (imo) :-)

maybe some are now investing hoping for that dividend thats a possibility?

concur; i think txr should be around 25-30p now, so im way off, at least medium/long should see sunshine next year, i believe the sp will probably rise again at interims in september and possibly b4, when they tell us whats happening with insurance split.not a difficult decision to, like, er, have a board meeting, and agree upon the strategy. i emailed them direct a number of times this year, told them we blog here and on others, presumably they observe. would be nice to know what the minor setbacks have been??

would like to see txr do the following with the insurance recent payment of $7.5m $3.75 million as a dividend to shareholders $2 million to develop existing assets $1.75 million new growth projects including sorting its pr campaign walts replacement needs to kick ass in pr area and roll some heads if txr pays that high a divi on market cap, it will help generate positives for shareholders and the market may take some notice.money talks.so TXR act in the BEST interest of txrs shareholders whove already dug deep into their pockets. prove it!! you got the money off us for the dredge, got your insurance money.now hand some, not all, back to shareholders.capiche?

no idea, i summise, improving efficiency through dredge upgrade, further exploration which is already ongoing.dont forget zircon 6 mill $ a year extra to your figures, and this will probably increase next year, an additional spin off the company hasnt seen before. maybe invest in producing more zircon, marketing etc? dont forget to add about 4mill sterling to your figures for the zircon.:-)

not imminent.strange thing to add into the agm.maybe a tentative enquiry-early fishing expo by someone? maybe they are putting the company into profit,lean and clean ready to sell, who knows. wont harm the market price either way as we all know the share price is probably worth nearer 28p at moment. in accounts they are striving to decent profitability/ebitda came down and will continue to do so.all good except current sp, unless you got cash to invest and make a killing.definately ripe and cheap for a buyout pre due diligence / notice of intent etc just some thoughts.interesting.hmmmmmmmmmmmm. :-)

you mentioned thoughts of a later date takeover. In accounts page 21 second from last para states that provision will be discussed at AGM on june 10th to further strengthen shareholders rights in respect of an offer being made to take over the company, full details are set out in notice of meeting. hmmm. maybe sp was driven down for another reason market cap is cheap. hmmmm
