"but from who (or is it whom?) lol.
The last 3 days we've seen
a/ "Prudential Group of Companies" - go from 57,875,000 to 58,875,000 on the 4th Nov
b/ "M & G Investment Funds - under Nortrust Nominees" - go from 51,875,000 to 54,190,000 - on the 5th Nov
c/ "Prudential Group of Companies" - increase again to 61,500,000 on the 5th Nov.
M&G are part of the Pru (if you look at the first RNS of Friday you'll see at the bottom that M&G are listed as a subsidiary of Pru, so I believe that the holding under b/ above is probably just a sub-division of the whole Pru holding (not M & G holding 54 mill AND Pru holding another 61 mill).
Either way someone is selling these to them off market (don't think it's Jean-Raymond - his holding in the Sept RNS was 31.5 mill and that remains the same according to the TXR website - updated 5th Nov).

It's not Pala (they remain at 115mill), so perhaps JP Morgan or possibly an ii that holds under 3% that doesn't have to disclose their change in positions (not required if under 3%).
Interesting though, and always very encouraging that we have a buyer for that stock. If we had a drip seller that would suppress the price, so if the Pru are happy to mop that up then long may it continue.
Cheers
